Description of Work: Pueblo PC & MAC were able to restore the operating system of my old Sony Vaio laptop that has Windows XP. With the announcement that Windows XP would no longer be supported after April 8, 2014, I purchased a new laptop with Windows 8. I used Advanced Tech Support, a company that had kept my Sony Vaio operating fast via convenient internet access, to switch their service (lifetime) from the Sony to my new laptop. They advised that I install a good anti-malware program (PCMRI.) They installed PCMRI without problem on my new laptop. For an additional small price they said I could get the PCMRI installed on my Sony Vaio, but they never asked how much RAM I actually had on the Sony Vaio. I, of course, did not have enough RAM, and my Sony Vaio crashed during their attempt to install PCMRI. Advanced Tech Support did spend many hours (via internet) to attempt to restore the operating system but finally said the computer would need to be taken to a local shop and left several days. The good news is that Pueblo PC & MAC was able to restore the system without my having to purchase a new hard drive. In addition, Pueblo PC & MAC added a few safe and free sites where I could download some of the programs I lost in the restoration process. I was very pleased to get my old lap top back since I have a windows office program, printer program, and camera program that could be re-installed.

+ -1 moreBecause of my own inexperience with laptops, win 8 and networking. this speedy little laptop was worthless. A visit with the very kind owner, Muriel Tincher, had me reassured that all would be well, and it is. I boot into win 8 when I have to, connect to any wifi connection, and am productive and independent from the home or office. I can now do what most have been doing for years, but without the help of PC and Mac, I could not figure out how.
Description of Work: Combined data from an old desktop and a USB backup drive onto a new laptop. Setup laptop with dual boot option for windows 7 and 8.

+ -1 more5 year old HP desktop monitor went blank repeatedly, would recover upon reboot. Joined and reviewed Angie's for PC repair shops in Pueblo, CO. Only one review but it looked good. Pueblo PC and Mac determined problem was the graphics card overheating. Technician, not sure but believe it was the owner, called with assessment, cost, and for authorization to order the appropriate card. 10 days later, picked up the desktop and monitor. Problem solved. I would recommend this business.

+ -1 moreOur office has used Pueblo Mac and PC twice, within a span of about 2 months. The first time was when my computer's power supply failed (of course I was not aware that was the issue at the time). Having had a horrible experience with a chain store repair service previously, I choose to try Pueblo Mac and PC. I was quite nervous after my previous bad experience with the chain store that will not be named. My biggest fear was that they would take forever to get to my PC and I as such I would be loosing out on work productivity big time. I took my machine in and paid $40.00 for the express diagnostic, and to my joy, they had my part replaced and the work repaired in the very same day! My assistant's power supply then went out a few weeks later, and we took it there and received the same service. Needless to say, this is the place we will call first whenever we need help!
