Guy who did the work did a good job (I thought). Business owner couldn’t be bothered to send someone out to check the lock when it wasn’t working well later — because it was supposedly outside of some unknowable timeframe. Would have cost more to pay them to come back to fix what seemed most likely to be damage they caused than it cost for them to unlock it in the first place, so I ended up fixing it myself. Seemed like the right thing to do (and the smart thing business-wise) would have been to have more respect for the customer and take a 2nd look at their work — guess there’s no money in just doing the right thing though. Oh well. I won’t hire them again.

There were no problems. I dropped the new lock off at the Lock Doc's business. Came by an hour later and picked up the rekeyed lock. Tested it with the existing key, worked perfectly.

I was having trouble with the tumbler on my gun safe. I live in rural Colorado. Jim's shop is 100 miles away he combined the trip cost with another customer in town and saved 50% on the mileage charge .Which was a great savings. He has been working with locks sense he was 14. No offense Jim, But I would say he was in the late 'baby boomer" era age. My point is, He has years of experience as a locksmith, he knows his stuff about being a locksmith. Jim found other problem with my safe due to lazy manufacturing. He found one very important safety feature on my safe that was not functioning, due to lazy or poor manufacturing. He was on time, prompt and friendly. I live up in the mountains and Jim went the extra mile to make sure he found my place. If you need a locksmith anywhere in the pueblo area or beyond, Jim is the man to call if you want or need a locksmith.

Installed deadbolt that he supplied on one door. Installed a second doorknob, customer supplied,on second door , and re keyed lock to match house keys. On third door switched the knob around so key access would be on right side.

The guys at Pueblo Lock Doc have repeatedly been very helpful to me. I first used them to change and upgrade all the locks in my personal residence. They were very professional, and got the job done wonderfully.I have since also used Pueblo Lock Doc to change the locks on several of my investment properties.Highly recommend.
