My 92 year old brother-in-law who has dementia hired Patterson to remove garbage disposal because it was not working and sink would not drain. He signed the estimate. An invoice was NOT provided for the family. He was charged $662.00 for a couple of hours of labor and a few plastic pipes. The new pipes leaked water all over the floor and another tech had to come repair the leak later. Senior financial rape is what I call it. Think twice before hiring!

It went fabulous. We contacted three other plumbers and no responses ( it was early Saturday morning). Someone answered right away and gave us and estimate of when they could get to us. They called and could be to us earlier than expected. Once Rich arrived he was kind, respectful of our property and brought information and options to us as soon as you knew what to do. We chose an option he did the work and went on his way and it was great to only be without our hot water a few hours!

We awoke on Saturday, OCT. 27, 2018, to a cold home. I thought a switch on the furnace was defective. I called Patterson's. The company called when Tim (who was on call) was on his way. I was really impressed as he put a cover over his shoes before he entered my home. I have never had an service person do that. One time someone offered to remove his shoes. BTW, I had just had my carpets cleaned professionally. After inspection Tim explained the problem and gave us several solutions. Since the furnace outlived it guarantee we opted to replace it, the AC and later the broken expansion tank and water heater when Tim found the expansion tank full of water. Tim, Damien and Gyasi were on top of the mess with cleanup as they worked. They brought in 4 space heaters while the work was being done. One of their trucks leaked oil on my driveway. When Tim noticed it he brought it to my attention right away and cleaned it up without being asked. My sons were visiting from the East and were really impressed with the team as the communication and explanations were understandable and sensible and we could all understand the different situations.

Technicians John V and Thomas C came out to help us determine the cause of a mysterious leak. They came during the time they said they would come and even sent a text to let us know they were on their way. They were upfront about how the process would go. They listened and examined the problem. They were professional, courteous and thorough. They answered all of our questions, explained the issue then offered their recommendations. We will most definitely call them again should any other problems arise.

John Volk came out to help. He was kind, helpful and generous. Beyond my expectations.

I paid for the seventy five dollars drain clean out. they showed up a day late. They wanted another $231 to take the P trap off the kitchen sink to clear drain. they do not explain on the phone that it will go up $231 to take P trap off the kitchen sink. Wasted my time and it took several days to refund my money.

We went with someone else because their estimate was higher. They did not charge for the estimate.

We wanted a tankless water heater and boiler put in to replace an old system in the house we recently purchased. They quickly came out to give us an estimate and started the next day. John and Derek were great. We were notified every morning when they left the office to head our way. They explained everything as they went and did an outstanding job with the install. Our experience could not have been better. The new system works and looks great. Many thanks to their outstanding service.

The Patterson plumber, John Volk, arrived promptly and on time. He introduced himself professionally and was very considerate of our hardwood floors but placing shoe protectors on his boots. He quickly assessed the issues and offered a great price. He performed the repair work with excellent results. I would definitely recommend John from Patterson plumbing to anyone in need of plumbing repairs etc...

From the moment that Richard Shiner showed up at the door, we were treated to the pinnacle of customer service and professional installation of our garbage disposal. When he reached the point that a couple of the pieces weren't locking in perfectly, he did not hesitate to call and ask for input. He took all the time necessary to make sure it was a perfect job. He would not leave until he was sure everything would work as promised. There was no clean up required after he left..... in fact, everything was cleaner than before he started. The work was done very well considering the challenge involved. The Tech John was very professional and the quality of work especially (hiding) the plumbing was perfect. I was very impressed with his level of professionalism.

Patterson was very professional, conscientious, and backed up their work. If something wasn't quite right they came back quickly to fix it. We didn't do any price comparisons, so I'm only guessing about price. I suspect they're higher than the average, but I feel pretty confident they're worth it. They guarantee their work and back up their guarantee with a smile on their face. They carry several million dollars of insurance, so if something were to really go wrong the customer isn't left holding the bag. I trust them to be fair, and to do the job the right way and not just the expedient way. Next time we have a problem it will be Patterson that we call.

Technician arrived at time scheduled, was courteous and professional, and answered all questions.

I am very pleased. Greg and Chris fixed what a previous "master plumber" (as advertised) had not done: stop a leak. Originally, I called this company to move an outside hose bib. But Greg detected a small leak in the crawl space and offered to fix the leak in addition to the hose bib. He indicated that the previous plumbing work seemed confused and needed to be replaced to fix the leak. The previous plumbing work had not added a vent, as required by code, to the washer. Greg added that and cleaned the drain line Before doing anything work, Greg provided two estimates: one with only the hose bib work; the other one for the hose bib and additional repairs for the leak.

Job went fine but the cost was outrageous

Five minutes of "testing" and the rest of the time telling us when we could expect the system to fail (much sooner than the manufacturer suggests) and selling us the maintenance contract.

This company is a complete rip-off. They told me they "flat rate" all repairs. The part cost $50.00. I called two other plumbers after these guys, they both wanted $100-125 to do this repair. $690.00...REALLY???? First time I have been disappointed with Angies List results.

I called the provider to get an estimate on a major outdoor plumbing overhaul - roots in the lines. They send a scope through and found out major damage. I got a second opinion and the price was about $8,000 less, and that was including some of the inside plumbing as well. Patterson is the most expensive place in town. I also heard this from several people who I talked with after.

The repair person who came to look at the job was pushy and he knew he had me in a bind. Even though the price was ridiculous for approximately 10 foot of plastic pipe and two connectors I had him do the work because it HAD to be done and done quickly. I also had Patterson install a furnace and air conditioner in approximately 2000. Both items still work today but the cost, again, was ridiculous. Also, as soon as the technician had the equipment installed he told me he did not like or recommend Patterson. He said he was starting his own business and I should contact him in the future for service should I need it. The entire thing was weird. Fortunately, I never needed service. Up until about 2008 most service providers were so busy with new construction it was hard to get anyone other than Patterson to make a service call. I would only use Patterson again if they were the ONLY provider available.

Patterson did a thorough job and provided me with a list of items that might need servicing in the future and a cost estimate for repairing them.

I called the company to take a look at my slow-flushing old toilet. They came out the next day and a technician determined that the line was not clogged but that mineral deposits in the toilet was causing the issue. That is what I suspected after trying unsuccessfully to use an auger myself. I asked for an estimate on a new toilet. There was no pressure to buy it as the price was good for 30 days. It is good quality and includes one year parts and labor. The price was reasonable and included an online coupon from their website. They were very professional and polite and I would not hesitate to have them do other plumbing work.
