When we expressed concern about their dropping limbs on the roof, Mr. Coca gathered his crew and left. Our cost to repair damaged shingles and gutters was $621.51. We have repeatedly tried to contact Mr. Coca, but our calls were not returned. We sent two registered letters, but they were not accepted. We finally filed in small claims court, but the Sheriff was unable to locate Mr. Coca to serve him the summons. I called the Better Business Bureau (too late) and was informed that his BBB rating is F. Update: We still haven't been able to locate Coca. We were told that this had happened numerous times and we should just forget it, because Coca was very adept at getting out of these situations.
Description of Work: Anthony Coca of Coca Tree Service estimated $450 to trim/fertilize trees on our property. Their crew completed part of the work (albeit improperly), but dropped heavy limbs on our new roof creating large holes in the shingles. They also dragged limbs across the new gutters, causing considerable damage. Some limbs were trimmed, but not cut flush with the tree. No fertilizer was applied. We did not pay Coca anything for any of the work they completed.

When called in 2007 it took a week before they responded. There was enough workers to have 2 in a bucket to catch branches. They just let them fall to the ground. By doing this they damaged several items in my front yard. I have been in contact with Tony Coca several times about the payment for the damage, he always has an excuse for why he never showed up. On Feb 23,2008 he agreed to send a check for the damage. He never has sent a check or responded to my phone calls. The trimming job was not to my satisfaction. I spoke with him at the time and was told I don't know how to trim a tree. There was things they did in 2004 and he refused to do this time. I reported the company to the BBB and they did not answer their letter.
Description of Work: Hired to trim large tree. Used them in 2004 and the job was done fine.
