Horrible. He was working on my neighbor's yard (had done a lot of work for her), and we asked him if he'd cut down a tree for us. He said that he would do it right away for $800, and needed $500 up front, and we could make payments on the rest. His truck and trailer were full of debris, he said he would need to go to the dump to get rid of it. I gave him a check for $500, and he said he'd be right back after the dump. He went and cashed my check and never showed up. I tried calling several times, no answer or call back. Kept trying to call him for 8 days, and finally I had to do *7 to block my number from caller ID. He answered, and I asked him where has he been. He gave me this rambling boo-hoo story, and said he would be there right away. No show. Tried calling, no answer or return calls. 2 days later he finally answered and I asked him why he never came by, and more BS about breaking down, and other stuff. I told him to be here in an hour, and he swore he would. Again no-show. Had to call several more times, and finally got through to him, and asked him to return my money. He said "F**k you, stop bothering me" and hung up on me. His name is Chris Crispin. Never do business with him or Archuleta's Tree and Landscaping. He is a thief.

This turned into a nightmare. He did not show up to do the work. Tried calling for over a week, no answer, no call back. Finally when he did answer, over 9 days later, I asked him to return my money. He told me to "Stop bothering him" and hung up on me. Repeated attempts to recover my money ended up the same way. He'd say "I told you to leave me alone" or "Stop bothering me" and would hang up on me. Eventually he stopped answering all together. I feel like an idiot for trusting him, even though he'd done some work for our neighbors, and they said he was trustworthy.
Description of Work: BEWARE of Archuletta's Tree & Landscaping, and Chris Crespin, owner. We hired him to cut down a large Pine tree. He showed up saying that he needed $500 down payment. He seemed very nice and professional. He wrote up a contract saying the work would start on that same day. Wrote him a check for $500, and he said he'd return in 30 minutes to start the job. He cashed the check, and never showed up.
