Shawn's Painting

It took a while to get them scheduled, but the work that they did was actually good. They did a good job. My dad talked to several people and they were the ones my parents went with. The price was good. My parents were very happy with them. They talked to my parents ahead of time of what furniture needs and does not need to be moved. They spent probably half a day like hanging up plastics and covering everything up to sort of minimize the mess as much as they could. They were pretty fast in doing the whole job. They did as much as they could in one visit and they had to wait for some of the work to dry. They came back the next day. Once they got there to do the work, it was three days to finish.

I am pleased with Shawn work as well. Previously when he came at the house I had the office furniture set up and I didn't want to move it at the time he was painting it so when the furniture was finally move out he would come out and paint behind where the office furniture was actually fit in so that was all included in the cost that we negotiated. Shawn was extremely punctual. If he said 8 o'clock he is going to be there every time. He clean up after himself and everything was put back the way I wanted it. There is no paint scatter and he didn't rinse the brush out of my lawn that kind of stuff. He is professional and he took care of his own mess. Yes I will use him again and in fact I moved two hours north where we live and even told me if I wanted his service that I can call him so he is very accommodating. I have no complain or whatsoever about Shawn.

I supplied the paint for the bedrooms, but Shawn had to match one area that had been painted about 7 years ago. It was a hard match, since I didn't know the name of the paint anymore. He did a great job (it wasn't a perfect match, but that wasn't his fault). Very easy to work with. Definitely recommend!

Very good experience. Shawn came for an estimate for a guest bedroom and an adjoining bathroom. He was prompt for the estimate, and said he could actually do the work the next day (he had a cancellation). He did all the work in one day, and left the area as clean or cleaner than when he arrived. He did a great job, and i will call him again. I didn't even get a second estimate, and even though it might have been a bit high, I really liked him, and the fact that he could do the work the next day was a huge plus. He had been recommended by a friend, so I felt comfortable in hiring him. Highly recommend!

They did a real good job for us at a reasonable price. They charged us about $2000 for their services. They came out right away and showed up when they were supposed to. They didn't dillydally around and got the job done. I would tell others to go ahead and get an estimate from them because they did a good job for us.

He did a very good work. He was very punctual. He wasn’t the lowest bid, nor was he the highest bid. He and his crew always cleaned up after themselves. They were very professional and very easy to talk to. I am having them come out to do some more work soon.

We were very happy with the work. The price was competitive. They finished in a timely manner. They cleaned up well. They even came back to touch up after the carpet was installed. I would use them again in the future and would recommend them to others.

First, I'll state for the record that my wife and I make a good painting team and have been less than impressed in the past when we have hired contractors to do painting in our homes. Do to the scale of our project upstairs, however, we decided to contract out the painting to save time and frustration. We contacted Shawn after researching painting contractors on Angie's List and received a bid that came in about $300-$800 less than what we anticipated. He and his crew came out 2 weeks later and painted all of the common areas upstairs. Short story long, the end result is nothing short of spectacular. Shawn and Billy are personable and professional and Billy deserves more money. They are very careful to protect your flooring and furnishings, meticulous when painting, and pack out all of their own trash. We were so pleased with the end result and the price that we hired them to come back and strip wallpaper and paint a downstairs bathroom and received the same great result.

Shawn provided a bid for me, and worked me into his schedule as quickly as possible after I let him know that his company was my choice for painting my home. Despite the job being more involved than anticipated, Shawn stood by his bid, adding cost only as agreed for upgraded paint (due to my allergies) and the need for a second coat, which was discussed up front. Shawn and his assistants were pleasant to have in the house, professional, courteous, and friendly. Additionally, they demonstrated a high level of respect for my home and furnishing, taking great care when moving and covering furniture. The entire job was done with paint brushes and rollers, except for two new louvered doors that they took to another location to spray. I was so pleased to have such great painters, and wonderful people, working in my home.
