I have a 1929 log cabin with a covered front porch that had bad boards in the porch and bad concrete on the steps to it. Bruce had to remove the old wood and demolish the concrete steps. He then put a new wood porch on and built a 5 x 20 deck to replace the step and to hide the gutter drain and the sump pump hose. He also installed my whiskey barrel to dress up the gutter down spout and drain pipe. An eyesore is now adorable. I bought the materials and paid Bruce for his time. He worked from 8 in the morning to 6 in the evening. He keeps his work area clean each day and when he is done with the project. He does the work himself. He has 25 years of experience as a contractor in Hawaii and his rates are very reasonable since he is new to Colorado.

I have a 10'x 28' 1984 Garden Way Sunroom that has leaked for over 10 years. I have had several attempts to fix the leak by roofers, but they were all patch jobs. Bruce removed the metal roof looked at how this 2nd roof had been installed over the first and realized that the problem was from the dormers above not being flashed. He removed the half log siding from the 2 dormers, installed flashing on the walls and tar and replaced the siding. He then flashed beneath the dormers so that now there is no way the roof can leak. He then repaired the damaged floor and the glumlam beam that had been severely damaged by an ex-husband who had taken a chain saw to it to remove the "bad wood". The beam had to be repaired and then faced to look like the others. It took his 25 years of experience as a contractor in Hawaii to diagnose the problem, and integrity to do the dirty work that needed to be done to do the job right. He does all the work himself, keeps his work area clean at the end of each day and at the end of the project. He is very skilled in each area that he has worked in.

Our basement suite needed new walls, ceiling, doors, closets, light fixtures, etc. I do not like drywall so Bruce installed installed the white beadboad on the walls, that I wanted, installed plank style ceiling tiles, added a wall, rebuilt a closet, changed out the doors, hung several ceiling fans and light fixtures in the house. I bought the materials and just paid him for his labor. There was a lot of intricate finish woodwork that needed to be done to accommodate the beadboard and I was very pleased with his joinery work. He works from 8 in the a.m. to 6 in the p.m., not even stopping for lunch. He does the work himself, cleans up the work area each day and at the end of the project as well. He has 25 year experience from Hawaii and since he is new here he is very reasonable with his rates.

I had a 4' x 9' room that had been a sauna. The bottom half of the wall and floor were already tile and the top half of the wall was cedar. In less than 2 days, Bruce had moved the plumbing and wiring, installed the fixtures, built a corner shelf to hide some copper heating pipes, hung all the décor . This bath became our new His bathroom in our Lodge. He also redesigned the brides's bathroom vanity to accommodate a mini fridge. The bathrooms are beautiful and as a The Black Forest Bed and Breakfast, the His bathroom has been used by over 1,000 wedding guests this summer. Bruce works 8:00 in the morning to 6:00 at night. He does not even stop for lunch. He keeps his work area cleaned up each day and when the project is done. The most important part is he does the work himself and does not just bid a job and send a helper to do the work. You get the master carpenter to do the work.

Bruce scheduled an estimate for me the same day I called. He actually came after I came home for work to meet my schedule. He inspected the job and gave me a very detailed description on what he was going to do and how he was going to do it. He gave me a fair price and I was comfortable with his professionalism with the estimate. We agreed on the job. He showed up right on time the morning of the project. Once again explained what he was going to do. Very professionally prepared the area as to keep the rest of the home clean and even ran paper from outside entrance to job sight as to not track debris in. When job was complete, he left a very professional, detailed letter of what was done, supplies used and a self addressed stamped envelope with instructions for payment. His work, professionalism and trust was unmatched. After learning he does a lot more than just drywall, I will be very likely to use him if I have other projects.
