David and his team took care of my yard last summer and things went well. I was happy with their service, and they helped me with a number of landscaping projects. This year, however, things went downhill fast. I called David to set up my first service, and he said he would come out to my house that week. No one showed up. So, I called him again and he told me he had been really busy with some "big projects". No problem. I asked him when he would be by, and he said he would call me that night to let me know. I confirmed the rate of $40, which is what I paid last year for bi-weekly service, and he said "$40 is fine, but I'm so busy with large projects that I won't be able to mow your yard this year". Again, no problem. I told him that I'd find someone else after this service. He restated that he would call me later that day to let me know exactly when he'd be by. No call came in. I left the country the next day, and when I got back to the US, there was a text from David saying that he and his crew mowed, sprayed my beds and "hauled away a lot of debris" and that the charge would be $200. What??? We had agreed on $40 for mowing. I hadn't asked for any of the extra service, and didn't want it. When I explained that I couldn't afford $200, David became very unprofessional and sent multiple text messages telling me how much he had paid out of pocket for my job. His communication was aweful all the way around, and I will never use his service again. I found a great new company, Outside Dreams, who charges a reasonable fee, always calls when they say they will, shows up when promised, and does an excellent job. My advice...don't hire Taylor'd.
