All Concrete Works

I was duped by the vendor into thinking that concrete poured in the winter would match the concrete poured for my driveway and backyard patio. The color and striations look terrible even though I was told "it'll blend over time". Unsurprisingly the concrete cracked and several calls to the company went unanswered. In several areas there's pooled water when it rains or snows because the concrete was not poured at the proper grade. The outcome was an absolute nightmare, stay away.

Bryan and his team was great to work with. As a paralyzed person in a power wheelchair, my needs were different than typical. They worked with me to widen the pathway where needed and got the elevation and grade just right. There had to remove my gate to do the work, and they modified it to accommodate the new walkway. They even repaired and replaced some previously damaged boards do my gate is better than it was before. The pathway was very narrow at one point between our AC unit and a fence post. They were able to adjust the AC unit to give me a couple of extra inches to navigate my wheelchair through that narrow space. They were terrific!

Bryan did a site visit where he listened to our initial thoughts on what we wanted. He made a few suggestions and gave us a bid that we were excited about. We called him back to say we wanted to go forward. He said he would put us on the list. We didn't hear anything from him for a few weeks and we got worried that he really didn't want to do the project after all. We were just about to start looking for other contractors when he told us that he had been busy and finally gave us a start date. From there, work went very quickly, around four or five days. He and his guys, who were very nice, did the ground/surface prep on the first two days. They poured the concrete on the third day and on either the fourth or fifth day finished it with the stain and the finishing scoring. It looks fantastic! He did come back a week or so later for fill in and touch up work. We are so happy with out new patio!

Brian and his crew showed up on time, did exactly what they said they were going to do when they said they were going to do it! Integrity! First of all, Brian showed up on time to perform an estimate (unlike most others we contacted...some never showed up). After getting several bids, we chose to go with All Concrete Works. I contacted Brian and he started the project the following Wednesday. He and his crew were very professional and courteous. They answered every question we had and addressed every concern. We always felt that they were up front and honest with us. They leveled the area and set up the forms that day. They had scheduled the concrete pour for Friday and showed up on time, created the rebar net and poured the concrete on schedule. They colored and stamped that day and one of the crew returned the next day to wash off the color and inspect it. Weather prevented applying the sealer until the following Monday, but that was performed as expected as well. Our new patio and walkway are complete and came out absolutely beautiful! We are very pleased with the results and will recommend All Concrete Works to our family and friends. Just as a note, We turned to Angie's List to find a good contractor to complete out project after trying someone from another and quot;listand quot;, that wasn't going well. Live and Learn, I guess.

We had to coordinate this work with the basement repairs we had and Bryan and his crew had no problems accommodating this. He was very responsive and kept in touch while we worked out the schedule for the other work. His crew arrived early, worked hard and was very professional. When Bryan and his crew first arrived, we reviewed the job and made some minor modifications from the original quote. He also made some suggestions for how to accommodate getting the equipment in and out of the yard with little fuss or mess. They cleaned up after themselves and the job and were very pleasant to work with. Our job was fairly simple in that we did not add color or have any patterns but I would definitely recommend Bryan and his company for concrete work. We will call them again if we need any more done.

Extremely professional. Bryan came out to our house to give a quote within a few days of the first phone call. He was very professional, and his quote was a lot lower than the other companies we had come out. The work crew was on time and very professional. Bryan was very involved in the project from start to finish. The patio is beautiful and we would definitely use them again!

We had a pretty tight deadline, and had gotten one estimate for $6K. We talked to Brian who could start immediately and gave a much lower estimate. His crew was prompt and hardworking, and got a really nice patio done for us right away. It looks great! We'd work with All Concrete Works anytime.
