Adams Roofing

I contacted them first after I'd purchased the big deal. The father & son, owners of the business, didn't communicate. The father came by and got angry with me because the son didn't communicate with the father when I'd be home. The father came by again and left a note on my door saying that I'd pay an additional fee because my roof didn't qualify for the big deal. The son was even making excuses for the father. I offered to pay the extra money to get the job done - I left messages - and didn't hear back about what it'd cost.It's been a nightmare - the emails and calls back and forth have just made for one big headache.

Did not call before they came. My son was home and did not know I was expecting them. They left my deck a mess. It was full of roof tile particles (all over the deck and down the stairs. They did not leave any written information about the condition of my roof or if they did any work on my roof. I called them and the guy I spoke with said twice in our conversation, "I know we messed up. I'm sorry." He asked me what I wanted him to do and I said come back out and clean up my deck and point out what you did on my roof. He said he would come out and clean up the mess and refund 1/2 of the money I paid him. That was over a month ago and I have not seen him or heard from him.

Cleaned all gutters and inspected the roof. Gave us a report on both the gutters and roof. We will have Adams Roofing to do some maintenance in the near future.

He performed maintenance work on my roof. Unfortunately, I'm not going up on my roof to check it out, so I can only assume it was done satisfactorily. He did try to seal around areas that might be causing a leak for me in the winter when it freezes -- I hope it works!

Good job. He was a little slow at getting back to me with a date for the repairs. No other problems, if this is even one.

We had some scheduling issues as they seem to have been overwhelmed with the response they got from an Angie's list Big Deal (which is what we responded to). We scheduled the gutter cleaning for several weeks after we contacted them, but then when the day arrived they did not show up and we got no call. I called them several times because we were waiting in case they showed up, but only got voice mail. I got a call back the next day saying they were sorry, that someone was supposed to have called because there were some issues with ice on roofs that day. I can understand not being able to get up on roofs with ice, but it is a very bad business not to call to let customers know you won't be there. We rescheduled, and then rescheduled again. When he did come, he did a good job and was very friendly and professional to work with. He said my roof was steeper than the fine print in the Big Deal allowed, but since we had had scheduling problems he said he would honor the original price. That was good, but I did not see any fine print in the Big Deal ad and he had not mentioned it when he first called me back to schedule the original appointment. So I would have been really mad if it had become an issue after he arrived. After this, I would consider using them again, but I might check other companies too.

Adams has been in business for many years in the Denver area. I believe that it is a small family run business and relies on word-of-mouth, but a son, Joe, has recently joined the business and has begun some updated marketing, like offering specials on Angie's List. It appears that the response this year was overwhelming (which is, of course, great for business) and there may have been times when the company was overbooked on gutter cleaning. I was pleased that I received a callback within 12 hrs after I bought the coupon from Angie, and the work was performed within a few days. This is a down-home business without frills, but they were nice and did a great job. I would call Adams Roofing again.

He was courteous, professional and although I have not climbed up to see that the gutters are clean, he represented that they were not that bad (especially considering they had not been cleaned for several years). He told me that the roof is still in good shape. He appeared to be very honest. We will probably have him come back in the future.

Representative called ahead of time and showed up when he promised. Overall just an excellent service interaction. I would recommend this company to anyone.

At first wasn't pleased with communication but found out provider was having issues with sending replies through my angies list messages, so overall my experience is better since talking to the provider .

Did not respond to Angies list email, called him twice - no response. responded to third call and scheduled date - did not show up. Three days later called Angies list -to cancel. They will contact another contractor.

I have a leak in my master closet, so Joe calked all of my vent pipes on the roof. He also cleaned all of my gutters and when finished with the gutter cleaning, proceeded to sweep up all of the leaves in both the front and back yards. He also blew out my neighbors front gutters, so the leaves would not come back into my gutters. Joe told me if the leak comes back to give him a call and he will come back and inspect the pipes in the attic. While Joe and I had a tough time connecting, once the contact was made, he kept me in the loop on where he was and when I could expect him.

Joe is one of the "good guys". He was not only professional but thorough. I won't know until the next storm if he got the leak but he found an area that needed sealing. The gutters were clogged and he took the time to clean them right.

Pre-season maintenance. Cleaned gutters and inspected roof. Are going to replace 6 bad pipe jacks for $350.

They were punctual, completed all the services I paid for and stopped a leak in my roof that was present before they arrived for their work.

The provider arrived right on time. His job was to clean all the gutters, inspect the roof for any cracks and seal them. I showed him one sprout that separated from the gutter and building and told me he had no tools or materials to fix it. He asked if I had observed any leaks from the roof and I showed him a water mark on the beam in the living room. He reported that he could not find any leaks but has applied sealant to areas where he thought the leak might be occurring. He hosed the gutters on the front of the building but I was not sure he cleaned the gutters on the remaining sides of the house. He answered yes when I asked if the other sides were cleaned. | |He was at my address for 42 minutes but spent half of this time on the phone. This is unprofessional. I was expecting more interaction and exchange as the work progressed.

Sealed the roof with roofing caulk and secured areas that were showing wear /pre-leak before winter. Cleaned Gutters all around. Right on time & very nice. I am having them work on another roof soon. Thanks.

Provider contacted me via email within a week, also called to talk about the best time for the service, then called again about an hour before arrival. Service was performed with professionalism; I asked whether I could get an estimate for new gutters and one was provided at no additional charge. I was very pleased with the service and would deal with Adams again.

Excellent service and inspection of my roof! A great price, easy to schedule, and friendly and professional! He inspected my roof, sealed all the seams, fixed a leak going into my bathroom and cleaned the gutters! I will definitely use Adams roofing for all my roofing needs!

Purchased $89 for Home Gutter Cleaning and Roof Inspection, was never contacted, never got my money back. Purchased deal close to 3-weeks ago and was told I would be contacted within 2 days to schedule an appointment. Still have zero contact with Adams Roofing despite Angie's list trying to help get me in touch. I am sure they are busy but I would at least expect a phone call or email. Simply unacceptable. I am $90 down and don't know if my money will be returned. F

Initially, the provider was quick to respond via email with dates he could provide roof maintenance and gutter cleaning. We agreed on a date and time via email, no problem. The night before he was to come to my house and work on the roof he called my phone and left a message stating something had come up and he would not be able to make our appointment. He called past 9 pm so, I did not speak to him in person. Even though he did not say, I assumed an emergency had come up so I didn't get worried when he didn't call and reschedule right away. I kept looking for an email from him since that was the original way we had set up an appointment. When a week and a half went by, I called the number listed and I got his voice mail. I left a message reminding him about our appointment that he had cancelled and giving him my contact information. I said if he was really busy we could move my appointment out to November, I stated I just wanted to get something set in his books. I never got a reply or call back. I'm hesitant at this point to have this person work on my house as he hasn't been reliable even though he was already paid.

Adam's was reasonable, but they stated the offer didn't display the terms and conditions prior to purchase and so I feel outside the scope of the house/roof structure that was within the guidelines of the deal.

This company never responded to my purchased deal. I bought a Home and Gutter Cleaning deal and the company did not call. After five days I called the company, left a voicemail requesting they phone me and set up an appointment, and they never responded.

They are very unprofessional. I do not know why they could not take five minutes to call a customer. It shows there business and integrity.

It was a total mess. No contact in time promised on the Big Deal, two phone calls to Angie's List finally got a phone call from Adams Roofing and an appointment set which was then cancelled with no explanation other than something came up. There was one other appointment in between the first contact and the second contact which was cancelled just don't have the date down as it was changed as well. When he did show up he wanted additional money to inspect the roof as it was a 2 story house and the roof pitch was high, not an unusual height but a two story. Felt the whole thing was a sham would not deal with this provider again nor recommend him.
