Tom did an amazing job on our deck. He was so nice and helpful in deciding what we wanted and the color. We had a timeline to get it done and he worked hard to stick with that. He was very reasonably priced. You will not be disappointed if you go with Rock Solid. They are amazing!

Tom and Curtis did a great job cleaning and resealing our backyard gate and fences, loft deck, and rooftop deck with a quality product at a fair price. They were both knowledgeable, courteous, thorough, and flexible (due to inclement weather) in getting the job done. It was terribly hot on one of the days they worked, but they held strong to get the loft and rooftop decks finished. They also noticed that one of our deck boards had lifted/warped slightly due to the sun and heat, and proactively fixed that. I'd definitely recommend the Rock Solid team to others and would use them again myself.

Tom Vondra, who also works with A-1 Building Services, was easy to work with, although, at times it was difficult to get a good connection between his phone and mine. I was not able to give tha job a full 5 stars because A) it's only been a few weeks, since the repair, and time will tell if the stucco repair holds up and B) the angle on the decorative ledge on the front of the house was not matched perfectly, which other people may be more particular about. However, I was concerned about moisture getting into the foundation and basement, with these big cracks at the corners of the house. What a relief to see how quickly and easily the job was done! The customer service was excellent and I'm very satisfied with the work (so far). To top it off, it was all done at a very reasonable price. I would call this business again.

We hired Tom after evaluating several painting proposals for the exterior (vinyl siding and trim) and interior. After reviewing Tom's references and discussing his approach to the work, which we found thorough and knowledgeable, we decided to have him do both exterior and interior. His pricing was very reasonable and he proposed several good ideas to deal with various issues, explained the pros and cons of preparation, paint choices and repair approaches, and stayed with the job consistently from beginning to end. We are very pleased with the work and were very comfortable having him in and around our home while doing the work.

Tom has abilities far exceeding painting and can help with just about anything. I always call Tom first! He is very resourceful and helpful!

We hired Tom to paint and replace the wood on the exterior of our home. This is what happened: First, they came without calling and within minutes, were setup and in action. Secondly, they worked hard for nine straight days. (They skipped one Sunday). Thirdly, they returned on the final day and performed work that was not requested but greatly needed and appreciated. Lastly, my home looks 100% better. Although the final walk-through did not go as planned, I will be keeping Rock Solid������s telephone number in the rolodex. I know I must refer them to family and friends but it will be tough to do so because I might want to be greedy so that he can be readily available for just me. (LOL/JK!) Anyone who hires Tom Vondra will be happy with the completed project.

Tom was great. His work is thorough and of high quality. He was honest and straightforward. He worked closely with us to stay within our budget, and made several helpful suggestions about how we could accomplish what we needed to do most cost-effectively.

Work was required on our garage roof for the sale of our house. We (seller) were out of State so it wasn't easy to monitor work. When completed, quality and workmanship were beyond poor. Patches weren't sealed correctly, cap sheet didn't meet code, recycled wood used, termination bar incorrect - the list goes on + on. We also learned a permit WAS required and were told MULTIPLE times at the onset that it wasn't. It would NEVER have passed inspection!! Not only did this delay the closing of our house by over 10 days but Tom neglected my calls + texts once he realized he screwed up!!

Tom and his guys did a tremendous job. They hand rolled 2 coats over the entire house and did it for less than anyone else. There were times, however, when I felt like I had to be more detail oriented than the painters.. But it could have also been that I didn't give them enough time to finish the details themselves. There were several spots where they did not cover things they painted above and paint was splattered. But I should be able to clean those.

Tom did a great job. The finished work looks great. He went above and beyond by moving all the furniture of the deck and replacing it when the work was coppleted. They had the best pricing out of the 4 companies.
