Structures are pre-manufactured concrete equipment shelters and the original pre-cast concrete roofs were failing due to spalling. Foam Tech over-coated the concrete roofs with a hard foam surface in the early 2000's. Due to ice falling from the adjacent tower, no fault of the product or Foam Tech, reapplication of the protective matting and hard coating was necessary. |This is one of six high altitude telecommunications facilities owned by an electric utility, Foam Tech has worked on all but one over the last fifteen years or so. All these flat foam roofs are holding up remarkably well despite the brutal weather environment and snowloads above 10,000'. Although I've recently retired from the utility I am more than happy to take the time to extend my highest recommendation for Phil, Celia, Leo and the crew at Foam Tech. Great people to work with.
