"I hired a contractor for a project after agreeing on his estimate. However, he subsequently became unresponsive, ignoring my calls and texts. Even a direct text asking if he was no longer interested went unanswered. I became concerned something might have happened to him and called from a different number, at which point he finally answered, citing being overbooked with other projects.
