Euro Professional Moving

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! They cracked my new LED Tv and refused to pay for the damaged. They also ripped and scratched my furniture and walls. The movers are rude and hitting on women. They were taken to court previously for destroying other people's belongings. Now I have to take them to court as well.

I hired Euro Professional movers for my move when I moved to another house that was 5 miles away. The owner “Demetri” told me “We’re professionals, we know what we’re doing”. At best, this was an embellishment of their capabilities. It started off well when Demetri and his wife showed up at my house to pack my belongings. The problems occurred during the actual move. It turns out that their “professionals” are actually day laborers who apparently have little or no experience moving. They placed boxes in the middle of rooms instead of against walls which made it difficult to unpack. They also put boxes in the wrong rooms so I had to hunt down boxes to find things that I needed immediately after the move. Towards the end of the move the wife brought their child to my new house and I found them rummaging through my groceries and the wife asked if her daughter could have a granola bar. The granola bar isn’t a big deal but it was just plain creepy to have them going through my stuff. I would have ignored all this but they “lost” my Yamaha YSP 4300 home theatre system which cost $1,395. Demetri told me “Don’t worry, you’re my customer and I’ll take care of you”. That was a lie. He offered to replace the system with a cheap piece of junk that you would typically find at a flea market. I refused that offer and told him I wanted $800 which was a huge discount from the price I actually paid. Demetri refused to reimburse me for the “lost” system and quit returning my calls. So much for a “professional” company that “takes care of its customers”. I did little investigating and found a complaint on the BBB from another customer who says Demetri “lost” two of their mountain bikes. Actually they said the bikes were stolen which presents a curious pattern. I would have been better off renting a truck and hiring the day laborers myself.
