ASPEN TO PARACHUTE RUSS' SVC

Our GE dryer broke down and we called Russ’ Technical Service, Inc. because they were GE certified. On their first visit Russ said that our dryer (less than 3 years old) needed a new motor, which of course he would have to order. On their second visit Russ came with his apprentice and it took them about 3 hours to install the new motor. Russ is not a man of many words so he did not describe what he had done, just that it was fixed and they left. We ran a load of laundry, put it in the dryer, pushed the on button and … “BAM” went the dryer…and then it was dead again. We called Russ since it was not yet 5pm and we wanted him to come back and fix the job he had not done correctly. Russ informed us that he was already home (over an hour drive from our house – and again, it was not even 5pm) and so he would not return that evening but would come first thing in the morning. Sitting with a wet load of laundry we were very frustrated but said that we would see him first thing…8:30 am… to which Russ grunted something. Apparently first thing for Russ meant 10:40am because that is when he showed up at our house. Russ and his apprentice worked on the machine and then told me it was now fixed. I questioned what had been done and he complained that GE doesn’t use enough bolts in their machines and so he used two extra bolts of his own … and???? What? Seems to me GE has been at this longer than Russ. Anyway, at this given moment the dryer is working but I am in fear that he has done more damage to my machine than good. I do not recommend Russ’s Technical Service, Inc.
