Caribou Painting

I can’t say enough good things about Ray. He fit us in on short notice and I can’t get over how good the results were - our house looks as good as new! Having workers at your house can be stressful but not so with Ray. He’s thoughtful, friendly, and works efficiently. I highly recommend!

Ray was very professional and left us with a great product. He was very courteous and worked around my wife and son's schedules, and was not at all an inconvenience! Would hire again.

When we first hired Ray, we thought that he seemed like a reasonable guy and gave us a decent estimate. However, we quickly learned that his work was very sloppy and that he took many liberties with our house while we were gone that absolutely infuriated us. To save time, Ray did not mask our windows, appliances or fireplace. As a result, there was paint everywhere. Ray also borrowed our painting equipment without asking us and never cleaned them. When he cleaned his equipment, he splattered paint all over my deck railing, which to this day I have not been able to clean off. He also took the liberty of playing around with our pellet stove without our permission and damaged it so much so, that I had to pay someone to come in and fix it. He did a horrible job in our kitchen, which by the way he never finished. Instead of moving the appliances, he just painted the top four inches behind them and hoped that we would never check. He also tried to finish the job so quick that he got paint all over our counter and window sash and never cleaned it off. Ray then got paint all over one of our window coverings. I asked him to come back and finish his job and address our concerns. Instead of dealing with me on a professional level, he came by our house while we were not home and nailed one of his business cards to the garage frame. When I confronted him about this, he claimed that "I was warned about working for you..."

When we moved to Colorado in 2010, Ray painted the exterior of our home. He went above and beyond- helping us select the right paint color and finish, making minor repairs and caulking the boards where necessary, and carefully finishing the trim. Since then he has also stained our three decks, and painted two rooms inside the house (+ another one in the works).Always a pro, he's passionate about painting and getting the job done right.Highly recommended.

I was very pleased with the quality, communication and speed of the work. The entire project was completed in about 4 days, the staining was carefully and effectively executed and Ray was wonderful about daily communication (even pictures!) on the progress of the project. Caribou Painting provides a very professional and high quality service. I highly recommend them.
