TRI-RIVER APPLIANCE

Tri River Appliance was recommended to me by my landlord when my washing machine motor went bad. I also asked them to look at my dryer which has been making a loud rattling noise. They sent 2 techs to my house, and the two techs were there for about a half hour. They billed me for 2 hours of labor and the price they quoted to repair the units was greater than the cost of a brand new washer & dryer. I paid them for the service call and said "No thank you" to the repairs. Both techs were very professional, but paying for the repairs made no sense so I bought new units.

We live full-time in another state and were in need of a washer and dryer for a second home approximately 30 miles from this store. We had originally tried to do this through the home improvement store in Grand Junction, CO, but they couldn't get anything right. We canceled that order and tried Tri-River in Montrose. They helped give us information on several models, and helped us choose the right set for the space in our home with the features that we wanted. It turned out to be a display model on the showroom floor. They gave us a great discount and sent the bid via fax, performing all the work and assistance long distance, not knowing if we were legit or not. We showed up and purchased the units and they installed them the very next day. The installers were polite, professional, timely and punctual. We couldn't have asked for better treatment and service if we lived there full-time, but it was especially great service with us being almost 1000 miles away.
