He was early for service and was quick in getting the problem fixed. He charged affair price for the work done. He said we would have a receipt when he got to where there was Internet service and we did.

They did a good work! If I needed something done right away and if I needed it done well, they're the guys I would call. I might negotiate with them on their pricing the next time around.

the problem: kitchen sink drained, bathroom toilet bubbled and gurgled, trying to overflow. I shut the water off and called as a first time customer. They were there within a half hour or so. They used shoe guards and kept the interior clean. They reviewed the plumbing from the crawl space and the outside of the house. After determining where the blockage might be, the ran a hose down the vent over the kitchen sink and voila, after flushing the toilet several times and running the water in the tub, no more issue. They still stayed for a cycle of the washing machine to make sure that nothing was backed up anywhere.

Called Ben Franklin Plumbing at 8AM Wednesday morning, schedule appointment between 12-4PM that afternoon. They called back around 9AM and asked if earlier was possible. Yes it was, Steve showed up in 15 minutes. He was super positive every minute during the repair. Wore booties to protect my floor. Talked about the problem, he looked around, even crawled through my spider infested crawl space to invest pipe sizing and bends. Outlined all the costs before work before. Fixed rate regardless of time spent, yay! I agreed to continue, he high-fived me, then brought in the tools. He started the work, snaked about 35 feet to clear the line. Took about an hour. Checked for cleared line, flushed with hot water. Discussed options for my cast pipe. Offered BioBen as solution, I bought a bottle. He then treated all my sinks. He cleaned up the work area to a point where you couldn't tell that he was there. Would not let me do any of the work. Filled out the remaining items on the work order. I presented my Angie's List coupon, saved $79.00, YES!! Wrote a check, he put all he tools on the truck and away he went. Hands down the best plumber experience I've ever had.

I was having problems with high water pressure in my house, and so I called Benjamin Franklin Plumbing to see if they had someone who could look at it. ( I did check out their rating on angieslist after a couple of bad experiences last summer). I got an appointment (not an emergency) and when the day came, I was not able to get off work at that time, so I called and had a very pleasant call making arrangements for the next morning, which worked out better for both of us. Steve came out promptly, found the problem, replaced the pressure vacuum breaker with a higher quality one. He also spent quite a bit of time making sure I had no leaks anywhere. I couldn't have been more pleased with the company and with Steve. He was professional and polite, and BEST of all, competent!!. Thank you!

I called them for a service call. They offered to stop in between 3 and 5. I let them know I wouldn't be home until 3:30. When I arrived someone was already waiting. He "diagnosed" my hot water heater as needing a new thermocouple and said it would cost $211. After I declined any further services until I thought about it more, he said he would have to charge me the $80 for a service call because he had to wait 30 minutes (even though I had a free coupon and it was not my fault he office had not warned him of my schedule). I called the next day and they sent me a check to refund the service call fee, and my dad saved me over $200 by purchasing the $6.95 thermocouple and spending about 20 minutes installing it. They were highly overpriced and not personable.

We had some real bad luck with a broken heater and then our water main broke. We called Benjamin Franklin and they came out first thing the next morning. They were able to locate the problems and give us a workable estimate. There were several problems with the water main and they were able to overcome them and have our water back on in a reasonable amount of time. The replacement of the heater went very well and was working well before snow came to the valley. We are very pleased with the work that was preformed and will definitely use them for all of our future plumbing needs.

Asked them to do an estimate for a job. They couldn't do so for about two weeks. Told me they would call back with a time to do the estimate but never did. Guess they don't need more business.

They are very clean, very professional, they are prompt on the calling, and they call ahead.

We had a coupon so it didn't cost very much. It was the first time we used them. The service was pretty good. They did just fine. We would use them again.
