Description of Work: I use them regularly and send a lot of prospects to them. While property management is a tough gig, I think they are one of the best if not the best, in town.

+ -1 moreI e-mailed about a property I wanted to rent. I asked if they allowed chickens at the property as I have 9. I received a response E-mail stating that the city has an ordinance that states you can only have 3. When I first acquired the egg makers I did my research and never found a limit on the number you were allowed to have. Considering this I still called the Montrose County Clerk and she verified that there is no set number. I responded to the E-mail from Area Best with the facts and to state that I was still interested. After not receiving a response to my E-mail I called Area Best back to inform them that I was still interested and to let them know there is no limit...blah blah. She told me that the property still needed to be cleaned up and that they would call me back on the 10th to schedule a viewing. They have not done so at all. Additionally, a dear friend of mine has been renting from them for a few months now and has told me multiple times about how irresponsible they are at meeting her maintenance requests. Since she is disabled I find that to be a really awful that they are not responding to her maintenance requests.
