+ 0 moreHe did not show up to discuss the work, as promised, and didn't call to reschedule or say he couldn't do it. Second contractor to pull a no-show within 2 weeks. GRRR
Description of Work: I contacted this company before I found the Angies List reviews. He did not answer the phone with the company name, and didn't seem to be recording the address and phone number he asked for. He did agree to come at 10 am today to discuss the retaining wall project I spoke with him about on the phone. He didn't show up, and didn't call...like other reviewers noted. If he isn't interested or available to do the work, he should have told me instead of agreeing to look at the work. Totally unreliable and unprofessional.

+ 0 moreThe service provider was to give an estimate for a small landscaping job. He showed up on July 25, 2013, surveyed the area and stated that he would email a proposal and an estimate the following week. We did not hear from him for a couple of weeks. Attempts to reach him were futile since his voice mailbox was always full, and his email address did not work. I finally got hold of him via his cell phone on August 9, 2013. He stated that he "had it figured out" and that he would call me back immediately. This is the last we heard from him. Since then, we have found another landscaping company to work with. We did not lose any money, but we lost something far more precious, time.
Description of Work: The service provider was to provide a proposal and an estimate for landscaping our backyard. He has done nothing to-date and we have engaged another landscaping company.

+ 0 moreCalled and spoke with owner regarding a project at our home in Longmont. He did not answer the phone with the company name; he had to scrounge around for paper - okay, somedays I'm not the most organized, either. We set an appointment for the next day for him to come to evaluate the work that needed to be done and give us an estimate. He never showed; he never called. It is now a week later and I haven't heard back from him. Guessing our phone number got lost on the floor of the truck...
Description of Work: Estimate for yard work: retaining wall, concrete patio and pad, excavating, sod and sprinkler system

+ -1 moreI sent an inquiry / request for an estimate through their website and after several weeks, still have not received a reply. If you provide the ability on your website, use it! I won't try this contractor as I am now very unsure how responsive they would be if there is an issue with a job.

Description of Work: We have used Martinez Landscaping for six or seven years and would never change. They do a great job! Their price is fair; in fact, it has never changed. They come every Saturday to mow, weed and trim our property like clockwork. They always have at least three people, so they are able to do thorough job in short order. We have them do a spring and fall trim and clean and they always e always exceed my expectations.
