Everything went fine. They did a good job.

It did take them a long time to get here. They had too many other jobs lined up and we just had a small job. We were out of town when they did the job, but we told them they could do the work. When we got home the window by our front door was cracked all the way up. They did not tell us about that. We had to get it fixed and the guy who fixed that for us said that it looked like a weeder had kicked up rocks and dirt. They tired to charge us extra for extra time, but we didn’t pay them and they did not call about it either. They did the job quickly. We paid for a 4 hour service total.

On time, did more work than I ever thought possible in four hours.

That has turned out very good. I think their pricing was moderate. The quality of their service was very good.

They did some leaf blowing for me. They were okay and I don’t remember anything going wrong.

As I have found with other companies that do Angie's List deals, they were a little slow to respond and get going on the job, I assume this is because they get an big increase in business when they run an Angie's list deal. Once we set a date and endured some weather delays, they came out and completed the work of raking up a large amount of pine needles and leaves and hauled away in a single day at the agreed upon price.

Tomas is very professional and did a great job. He was also responsive to my questions and concerns.

Tomas (business owner) is very nice person, professional, and made sure to get the job done. He listened to my ever-changing requests and was patient and willing to get me what I asked for. Even though I haven't marked "ALL A's" in this review, I would hire him again. The following are the reasons I did not mark Excellent in all categories: 1) Price - His pricing was GOOD. He provided a 5% discount on labor (military/angies list, take your pick). We contracted for a set price, but once the work was started he realized there was more excavation necessary to get the job done than he originally estimated. I ended up paying about $800 more than originally contracted for. Necessary, Worth it, but wish I would've known from the beginning that it was going to be significantly more before the work started. 2) Quality - I'm satisfied. 1) I had to re-measure, and remind the landscapers multiple times of how much clearance I needed for multiple parts of the project. They were willing and not upset about it, but it did mean moving retaining walls and pathways more than once to get the measurements correct. Shaping of the flagged stone patio, and capstones on the retaining wall that don't match my pre-existing capstones are functional and probably necessary to prevent the cost from going even further over budget, but the overall looks would have been EXCELLENT, rather than GOOD if some of these details could have been a little more elegant. 3) Responsiveness and Punctuality. There were various obstacles in this project, many of which were NOT in Tomas's control (employee difficulties, skid steer rental issues, bad weather), so I do not hold these against him, but I feel it pertinent to be honest and factual about the timing of the project - I signed a contract on 2 SEPT 14. This contract stipulated that the project start date would be 22 SEPT 14. and the Job would be complete within 7 business days weather permitting (so 28 SEPT 14). The project start date was not until After 28 SEPT 14 (not because of weather for that delay), and the project was not complete until 23 OCTOBER 14 (some weather delays WERE a factor). Overall I do feel like a received a Good price based on other estimates - but I'm disappointed it wound up costing more than I signed in the original contract, and the project was already started before we knew. I'm not amazed by the quality, but I am satisfied. I accepted the timing/delays of the work by choice, but the start and finish days projected in the contract were just factually not accurate. I do still recommend Tomas, He's a great guy and will work hard to get you a good product.

Tomas came out a day earlier than originally planned, which I thought was great, as I have several contractors lined up to do work on my house. He had my concrete front porch removed and then he resloped my front yard away from the house. Everything was done within a few hours, and he called me an hour before he finished so that I had time to come back to the house from work to check everything out. It looks great!

Tomas answered my first call and we arranged an appointment to review the landscaping required. He was very professional and prompt. He gave me an estimate and we scheduled the work. They were backlogged a bit, but they got to my job within 2 weeks from the initial meeting. They arrived on schedule, as well as the rock delivery. Three workers cleared the rock and replaced with new in about 5.5 hours. The old rock, fabric, and bush were removed from my yard and the rock residue cleaned up in front of my driveway. Excellent work! I would give them my highest review.

Tomas and his crew did an awesome job for a very fair price. I have been having run-off issues for years in my back yard, as well as occasional flooding in my basement around a window well. I took a chance, picked The Landscaper from Angie's List because of their high rating. The owner, Tomas, came out hours after I called him & sent me a quote the very next day. He was also able to squeeze my landscaping project into his busy schedule on a Saturday. My yard looks beautiful, his team did an excellent job and were very friendly..my neighbors all took a business card. I would highly recommend this outstanding landscaping team. Thanks again Tomas!

Very good. They were amazing.

Two men arrived on time and quickly and efficiently looked over what I wanted done and got to it. They surprised me by divising a way to lay out the weed block fabric on the bias that took much less fabric then I would have used. They saved me a second roll of fabric. They were done in the allotted time and offered to take out the heavy bags of weeds to the curb for trash pick up. Great job and well worth the price. Definitely use them again.

It went fairly well. The owner was to call me once he returned from vacation, as I had more work for him to bid on, and he never called.

Phenomenally well. Tomas is a great guy, punctual and priced fairly. He took one look and knew what we wanted and then delivered, quickly and cleanly. I had bought an Angie's List Big Deal. We had scheduled the work several weeks out, his crew arrived on time, got right to work and finished all in one day. Even though the picture for the Big Deal was provided by Angie's List and was not the choice of three same sized pavers, Tomas was willing to work with me to provide more of what was represented in the deal. They designed a patio using 3 different sized pavers as I had requested and I really like the finished project. I would recommend Tomas and his crew for future projects.

I am very disappointed with this contractor and will not use again. On 11/13/2013 I purchased an Angie's list Big Deal consisting of 4 labor hours of Fall yard clean-up. An appointment was scheduled for 11/22 but on 11/21 we received 3" of snow so I e-mailed Mr. Montoya and asked to set up another appointment. He replied that he would call to reschedule and stated that the weather had pushed his schedule back. On January 23, I e-mailed Mr. Montoya to ask for assurance that the work scheduled in November would eventually be done since I did not receive a reply back. I readily admit that the weather this past winter was not uncooperative for yard work but I had not heard from him for two months and still wanted assurance that he had not forgotten me. On January 24, I received a reply and he gave his word that I would have the clean-up done when the weather improved or in the Spring "whatever works best for you." After two e-mails to Mr. Montoya (March 4 and March 10) to reschedule, I received a reply in the evening of March 10 stating that his crew would be out mid to late morning of the following day. Mr. Montoya and his crew of two arrived on schedule. I showed him what I wanted to be done and asked him about a future landscaping project that I was considering and would like him to do. I also expressed my misgivings about the wind that was starting to develop but he felt the work could still be accomplished. He directed his crew and then left the premises. About one hour into the job, I received phone calls from the neighbors with apology) complaining that the leaves that were stirred up from our yard with the landscape blowers were blowing into their yards (after they had already done their cleanups). I asked the crew to please come back at another time when the winds were calmer. I sent Mr. Montoya an e-mail explaining the situation and told him that his crew was fighting a losing battle with the wind and at the time that they left it was hard to detect that any work had been done. I also stated to Mr. Montoya that I felt sorry for his crew since I believed that they wanted to do a good job. I asked him to take that into consideration when scheduling any remaining time for this job. He replied "No worries, we will treat it as not even starting. The wind just picked up too quickly to be productive." To date, I have not heard a word from him and in the meantime, we have finished the work ourselves. The weather was working against Mr. Montoya and his crew but I feel that he should have contacted me to "keep his word" to follow up to finally get the clean-up done.

They did a little bit of work for us. The Landscaper LLC did a pretty good job.

They did a very good job. I think there were additional charges because of the haul away, but I can't remember because my mother-in-law was in town and I was busy. It was my first time to use them. They were very personable, very polite, very friendly, and they did what they were supposed to do.

They 2 guys did an excellent job; they worked quickly, thoroughly and politely..

He has not done the clean-up yet, but he has been great to deal with so far. We have also hired him to re-do our pond.

Crew did a great job. Worked quickly but efficiently to get job done. Arrived on time.

Price and professionalism superior compared to several companies that provided a bid. Owner offered practical suggestions for project. Crew did great job. Worked quickly but efficiently. Was flexible and accommodating when we requested some changes while job was being done. Had entire project done in two days. Owner ensured the completed project met all expectations.

Tomas was very friendly and professional. Once I purchased the deal, Tomas promptly scheduled a time to come inspect the area. The cost was higher than the original purchased amount because I asked for a larger patio area with a step. Tomas gave me a quick estimate by email and gave different color choices of pavers. On the day the patio was installed, Tomas and his crew arrived on time and we discussed what was going to be done. I was consulted throughout the process to make sure the project was being completed as I wanted. The completed patio looks great! I am very happy with Tomas and his team. They are very professional, courteous, and exceeded my expectations. I have no reservations in recommending The Landscaper, and I will be using them again in the future!

They all kept busy. They had four guys out for an hour of work. Charged extra for haul off but I did not mind that. They did a thorough job.
