Everything went on schedule and estimate was exact.

He doesn't seem to get back to clients.

This is being written on August 3rd. All went well and according to our wishes. I have noted that we are getting some weeds/grass growing around some shrubs and edgings. I assume that comes with the territory. Grass and weeds are pernicious! But the rock areas really enhance our lawn presentation. The quality of the small River Rock was so so. It came filled with wet sticky dirt and small pebbles. Wish it had been dry cleaner rock. The large rocks were dry and clean.

The work was completed quickly and performed with quality in mind. Tomas is an excellent communicator - very pleased.

This was absolutely the best experience and the result far surpassed my expectations. I found Tomas to be honest and very flexible to deal with. I changed some things in the plan half-way through, and there was such flexibility to do so and genuine interest in making me happy. The crew that was working at my house was very knowledgable and very easy to have around. I am so amazed at how beautiful my whole yard is now! I cannot say enough good about The Landscaper. A great experience from beginning to end.

Tomas was on site everyday to make sure the project was being completed in a timely fashion and that the project was meeting the needs of my family. The project came out just as designed and my family could not be happier with the results. I would definitely hire The Landscaper again and would highly recommend him.

Working with Tomas Montoya was great from start to finish. He was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. His bid was reasonable and his reputation was excellent (Angie's List and BBB). He made design suggestions, was very open to our input, and eager to make sure we were happy. He was very good about answering our questions and making adjustments. The crew was on time, worked hard and were very pleasant. Their final cleanup was immaculate. Our former eyesore yard is now a pleasure to behold. We will absolutely contact Tomas when we are ready to tackle the back yard. For now, we will enjoy the serenity of our front yard as we sip iced tea on our deck.

Tomas is great! I gave him a plan for the landscaping to be done all around my new home and he made it happen just as I requested. I had gotten several estimates and his was very reasonable. Also, he is very personable and easy to work with. He and his crew performed the work as requested and on schedule. I have already booked him to do some additional work for me (add another tree, install some steps, etc.) I highly recommend Tomas (The Landscaper)!

Tomas and his crew were terrific. Tomas was timely in his responses and provided an accurate estimate right away. Once we agreed on dates for the project, the crew arrived on-time and worked diligently through the day to accomplish everything I needed done. I was asked numerous times about the progress to ensure they were completing the job to my satisfaction from step one. This work was completed in the summer of 2014. We wanted to give a review that would include our observation of how the project upheld throughout the subsequent 18 months. We initially purchased a yard Spring Clean Up deal from THE LANDSCAPER (Tomas & crew) through Angie’s List and were very happy with the results. Having such attentive service, we requested that THE LANDSCAPER (Tomas) provide a quote on a complete backyard landscaping job. We gave Tomas a general overview of what we desired, which included a total redesign to incorporate xeriscaping and the removal of landscaping railroad ties. We wanted to have a patio by the back fence and fire pit installed. We also wanted drought tolerant shrubs / bushes / plants install. We needed to decrease the grass area, thus adjusting sprinkler coverage. Finally we had the concrete patio pad beside the house colored to match the new pave stone. Tomas designed a thorough diagram of his vision for significantly remaking our yard. We spent time brainstorming / adjusting based on his ideas and our vision, which highlighted how professional and patient Tomas truly was. As with any large project, oftentimes plans adjust / change based on numerous variables and Tomas was fantastic throughout. The project took a few weeks and as various plants arrived, Tomas and his team quickly installed. Tomas was extremely conscientious, consistently checking in with us to ensure we were satisfied. He honored all guarantees by replacing the few plants that did not take hold. Overall we are incredibly pleased with the outcome and the superb job completed by THE LANDSCAPER. We’ve spent countless hours enjoying our new backyard and have entertained many friends and family members, with all stating that very sentiments we felt…that this space is an absolutely wonderful place to be. Bottom-line, Tomas and his team provided outstanding service with stupendous results! We HIGHLY recommend THE LANDSCAPER.

Not only is Tomas Montoya "The Landscaper" the greatest landscaper we have ever had. When we needed snow removal recently, very much, he and his crew were out here in no time with plow etc. and our large driveway and sidewalk were cleared so quickly we could not believe it. This company is amazing!

We had the pleasure of contracting with Tomas Montoya and his company to help us fix our backyard after the excessive rains had washed away land causing our heat pump to sink into the ground. Tomas provided the material and labor to create proper drainage and added a pathway. Also, we had him put in a paver stone patio addition which is wonderful! We are very impressed with the quality of work Tomas has provided. We've been so pleased with the service we have received, we keep asking him back for other projects. We will continue to do business with him throughout the year for a variety of landscaping projects. Tomas is very good and takes the time to make sure the job is done to the customers satisfaction. In all we talked to 5 companies and received bids from each. Tomas was by far our top pick: his references were outstanding, BBB A+ rating, great Angie reviews, gave a military discount and thanked us for our service, insured, all work was performed by his company and no subcontractors, his knowledge of the job and how/what needed to be done was very precise and his great recommendations put him far above the pack. We are so pleased with his renovation of our back yard. His crew was: always on time, very hard workers, the same people each day (6), really polite and would go over the project of the day with me each day and did their best to make me happy (which I am extremely happy with their work). I could leave and never once felt I needed to stay home and babysit them. Tomas checked with me each day to verify all was going as planned and I was happy with the job. He would stop by to check on things and help out when needed; but his crew was so professional and knowledgeable there really was no need. Tomas does not subcontract out any of the work- so there is only one boss man to coordinate with and he is as honest as it gets. We are looking forward to his return to complete another project in our yard.

Tomas came out and diagnosed the problems with our sprinklers, fixed them, and had them running again in less than an hour. He was right on time, extremely professional, and gave me great tips on getting my yard back in shape. I will definitely recommend him to my friends, and continue to use him in the future!

When Tomas came out to give me an estimate for a complete cleanup of the landscaping of a house that I had just purchased, he was most helpful in helping me decide what items needed immediate attention and what could wait. He really knew the variety of plants in my yard. He and his people removed two trees and sodded where they had been, The general cleanup included pruning and shaping the shrubs and trees, cleaning and weeding the planter beds, and spraying all areas for weeds. As part of the fall cleanup he will also be aerating, fertilizing, raking leaves and blowing out the sprinkler system. He and his people have done an excellent job in a timely and efficient manner. They are extremely professional and courteous. I highly recommend the Landscaper, LLC.

Working with Tomas and his crew at The Landscaper LLC was incredibly easy, and the results are exactly what we wanted. Tomas gave us all the advice we needed, and was very flexible in working with us as our ideas shifted a bit before the work began. The crew was friendly and did great work, and now we are enjoying a beautiful lawn where before there was only weeds and dirt. We will definitely have them back out to do more work in the future.

I live in monument and the company was based out of Pueblo...very difficult to coordinate a time/date

Due to show and other commmitments, contractor came several weeks late. I felt that was understandable. Can't control snow and other contracts. When he finally came, I was not home for the work. it was passable. But the worst part was the bait and switch he played with the pricing. On the phone he said I had enough to cover any haul away, then he said that I needed to pay an additional amount. He said he left a receipt, but when asked for it later, it was not for the price we had agreed upon. Despite several phone calls, he resorted to threats. Keeping in mind that I am a single woman living alone in the house. Found that very unprofessional. I have debated for months about writing a review since he was very aggressive. Finally, I felt I needed to warn other customers that I would not use him unless I was home to witness the work, and I would not hire him unless I was willing to put up with threats and switched totals.

They took away years of rubbish and growth.

They were fast and efficient. He was great and gave a good deal for projects and completed that work.

It went well. Nothing was difficult and I had no complaints.
