"I thought I'd get through the winter before reviewing. Drive is already beginning to crack. Edges are terrible. On a business call when they dug 4" to add a pull off. I watched them pull our streetlamp wire out of the ground about 3'. The light no longer works. When telling Noel, he insisted they did nothing to the light. I watched them do it! Then they spread the dirt and rock across the front yard, causing even more work for me. Noel stated multiple times they put grass seed in when spreading. Not so!. Also stood at the front window and watched him and one of the crew yelling at each, then get physical into the garage. The asphalt looked terrible when finished and I asked why it wasn't sealed. He then said it wasn't included but would return to seal, which he did. Drive looks decent but not as expected. Wish I could give a better review. With the damage to the streetlamp and yard, it probably should even be 2."

We wanted a flowing design with lots of curves and balance and he nailed it. Patterson landscaping sub contracts the physical work and I felt the subcontractors sometimes lacked the vision for the project, but nothing would happen until we were satisfied with the layout and plan. "This job was one of the worst I've ever had quoted. First, it was difficult to get a detailed quote. I asked for one, and he said it would be too difficult for him to make one. But I received a written price for the job of $1100 for materials and labor. I confirmed the price, also in writing, and when he confirmed that price, I agreed to it. On the day of the job, the owner dropped off two workers, then left. The workers cleared a path in the weeds for me to approve where the steps would go. They also, to my surprise, took out part of a cement and stone wall. I questioned that, but was told it was necessary. The owner returned and told me he'd made a mistake. It would cost $11,000. He asked me if I wanted to pay that. I said no. He then said he wanted $500 for the "work already completed." I declined and told him he needed to repair the wall he destroyed. At first, he said he would. Then he got mad and said $500 is nothing to me and he wanted to pay his workers (for three hours work). He left, saying he would get concrete, and then drove his truck over the wall on my driveway, knocking it down. I gave him four days to come back to fix the wall. He never showed or contaced me."

"They were supposed to take the slate that I already had and flip it over. We argued about that and I just got tired of arguing with her. It's like she does what she wants to do. She did not do the job nicely and no attention to detail. And they took all my molts and they did not bring it back and they brought some garbage instead. I even called her to made if specific. With the concrete, I don't have any complaint for that, they did a great job, but with the slate, they were not painting the slate correctly. That's a wrong color and they were messy and yellow stands out. She brought me yellow instead of brown. It was supposed to be brown not yellow but she bring me yellow. I ended up painting it myself. And I just got tired of arguing with her. She did give me $150 as a refund because I was going to paint it myself. She brought me flowers and the plants were dying. She brought six plants and two of them were dying and I did not made that attention. She brought me two more of the same time which were wrong to begin with. I didn't know how to fix it.
