Description of Work: REPAIR A CONTROL BOARD FOR FREEZER

Description of Work: The service person was right on time and very professional. They had to order a part and worked with me on return time so I had to take a minimum of time off work. The fridge is working perfectly.

Description of Work: They supposedly ordered a part for my washer. After a week, I had to call them and found out the part was no longer available. I bought a new washer that evening. I could have used that info a week earlier.

Description of Work: replace the heating element in the dryer. it was done quickly and efficiently. the repairman was personable and professional.

Description of Work: We had to fix 2 Whirlpool Gold appliance (ice maker, dish washer handle)and one GE fridge ice maker. Service was good, but I will look for alternatives due to the price of the labor.

Description of Work: Our refrigerator had died while we were out of town. There was a horrible stench. They came out and examined the frig and tried a part to see if that would fix it but determined it was the compressor. The service person said we might as well buy a new frig.

Description of Work: Our washing machine was not spinning the clothes so they were soaked. I looked at Angie's list and called Jim & Dave's Appliance to come look at the washer. The serviceman knew exactly what kind of washer we had, pulled off the front to look inside and noticed that we had a leak causing rust around the inside of the washer and the clutch, he suggested to not pay to get it fixed as so old. That is exactly what I needed to know. We kept using it with light loads so would spin and then 2 days later the washer just stopped with a full tub of water. We knew then we needed a new washer and have since gotten a new one. Jim & Dave's Appliance was very professional and knowledgeable about the washer and gave an honest assessment and recommendation to not repair the washer that was very much appreciated. I will definitely call them again for any appliance repairs. Barbara

Description of Work: They diagnosed and replaced a cracked "smart" valve on a Kenmore refrigerator that was leaking water. They were prompt, courteous and did a good job.

Description of Work: They came out on time and knew exactly what to look for based on my description of what I trouble shot and the washer code. The diagnosis was quick and the part was on the truck. It was a quick fix, replacing the pump. |I will definitely use again.
