This was one of the best experiences with a service call I have ever had as a homeowner. I called in the morning and Emmerson came over that afternoon which was impressive since the weather was hot and he had other jobs going on. He patiently tracked down the problem, intermittent in nature making it much more difficult. He wore his mask at all times and explained what he was doing as he went along. He got the unit running with a temporary fix while we await a replacement part. I obviously highly recommend Epic for future work.

Emmerson did an outstanding job testing, cleaning and tuning up the furnace. The report was more comprehensive than any other service contractor I had before. He was knowledgable and creative, specifically when he had to come up with an idea to increase the filter size. I was very pleased with the solution that was a fraction of effort than what I anticipated. Great work

Every single time was excellent. The first time Emmerson saved us from paying another (fraudulent)company $18,000–by replacing a $75 part on the a/c unit. He takes his time, finds the problem, and has very affordable prices. He has provided essentially every HVAC service possible for us over the years. His knowledge is top-notch. Above all, he is kind and ethical. We have come to appreciate him like family and we have never called another company. Highly recommended.

Emmerson and his sons were awesome! Fixed what needed to be fixed, felt like he was really treating me fairly, explained what he was doing. So far he has fixed and cleaned and both were done expertly, can't recommend enough!

Description of Work: We had Emmerson install a new A/C unit and move our existing furnace off the floor. Emmerson built a box for the furnace to sit on and created custom duct work to repair what the original installers did wrong. Not only did Emmerson move the furnace onto the box, but he also took it apart and performed a whole system tune-up and cleaning, which was not part of the original contract, and did not charge us extra for this service. The A/C unit was installed professionally and Emmerson does high quality work at a fraction of the cost of what other HVAC companies wanted! We can't wait to use our new A/C this summer! Thanks Emmerson!

I called Epic Heating earlier in the week to ask him if he could take a look at the cracked/rusted flue pipe coming through the roof. Emmerson (owner) met with me and looked at the pipe, on the roof, in the attic and the crawlspace. He explained to me the pipe came in sections and would need to get into the attic to replace the pipe. We decided on a day/time and he quoted me the price. He came on Saturday afternoon, brought a 5 foot piece of dual walled pipe and replaced the old pipe and added a new storm collar...it took him about 20 minutes for the whole job.
Description of Work: He replaced an exhaust vent pipe coming through the roof that was cracked and rusting.

We are highly satisfied with the job done by Epic Heating and Air Conditioning, as well with an earlier job, when a faulty A/C evaporator coil was replaced at a very reasonable cost, approximately half of other quotes obtained.
Description of Work: Epic Heating and Air Conditioning corrected our HVAC ducting in the basement to improve airflow to the second floor. Piping existing was replaced with wide airflow ducting in a tightly fitting environment. Excellent workmanship was observed and the work was performed as promised on the dates promised. The price paid was considered very reasonable for the amount of work performed. After completion of the job the airflow in the second floor bedroom was found to be much improved, to our full satisfaction.
