Description of Work: Kane was great! He was very responsive and patient. We had painted our living room the year prior ourselves and needed help cleaning up the lines around the ceiling. He came early in the morning to make sure that we were able to ask any and all questions before he started work. It looks great!

Kane explained to me in detail how he would go about performing the work and described to me the the quality of the products he would be using (Paint, Caulk etc). Based on everything Kane explained to me it sounded like it would be a very expensive project, so I was very pleased when I received the actual quote. The price was very competetive and included more detail than any of the other bids I received.The job started on time and was completed on schedule - everything was done as specified in the bid. Kane is a very polite and friendly guy. He is professional, hard working and honest. The quality of his work is top-notch. He assisted us in picking the best combination of colors and we are very happy with the end result.I will definitely contact Distinct Painting Company for my next painting project as well.
Description of Work: Outstanding work for a very competitive pricePainted the exterior on a 2500 square ft house.First power washed the entire house, then scraped and sanded the house in order to remove loose paint etc. Then caulked the entire house - all cracks, gaps etc with a high quality product. Primed walls, garage door and trim as necessary.Applied 2 coats of high quality paint to the walls and trim. The project was started and completed on time.Kane and his paint crew delivered a high quality product. I compared 4 different quotes before choosing Distinct Painting Company for the project. I found that Kane's quote was very specific on what he intented to do and everything required was included in his bid - no surprises and it was the only bid that came with a warranty ( 8 years).

I had the cost for the project the following day. My mom and I picked the paint then did another walk through so Kane knew exactly what we needed done. The job was completed on time and perfectly
Description of Work: Kane Robinson is awesome. He was always on time (often early) and completed the job thoroughly. We had him paint the entire interior of my mom's home. He assisted us with color selection, mending walls, removed curtain hangers, and much more. I truly appreciated how he cleaned up the work site and was very personable toward my mom. We will have him paint my sister's home in the near future. Highly recommend.

The job was completed within 5 days while I was traveling which made it quite convenient that they stuck to their committed schedule. I am very satisfied with the work and have only found some minor cleanup of countertops that I needed to do after completion. I would recommend Distinct for any interior painting or staining work you may have.
Description of Work: This was a complete interior paint job, applying two coats of a high quality eggshell latex over the original flat paint. The work also included refinishing some interior base trim. The house is approximately 1500 sq ft.

+ -1 moreThe work started well. The employees were professional and polite. They didn't make much mess inside. Our only problem was not getting an accurate timeline from them. We expected the work to be done sooner than it was, due to comments made by some of the painters. When we brought this complaint up to the manager, he apologized and came with a large crew the next day and finished the house quickly. The house looks much better than the horrible paint that was here when we moved in. The edging on the ceiling/wall was not as clean as we would prefer. The only other complaint would be that a stairwell banister was set up after a day of painting, but it was not screwed back in to the wall, so though it looked like it was connected to the wall, it was just barely resting there. When my three year old daughter was going up the stairs, she reached for it and it fell on top of her. She was okay, but I was very frustrated. Of course this was an accident, but one that could have hurt someone. Overall, the work was done well, in a reasonable amount of time, the painters were easy to work with, and the price was right on for the quality we received.
Description of Work: We had Distinct Painting repaint the interior of our house and remove the old baseboards. The painted every surface, excluding only the closets. We used two colors, white on the ceiling and a tanish color on the walls.

+ -1 moreHe did a great job. It's one of those walls that are between the kitchen and the living room so it's actually two sided. It wasn't just one wall but I'd really call it two full walls. He does a really good job. He's a very nice, friendly and trustworthy young man. I felt comfortable with him in the house. I was not here when he did the first job but I was here for the second job and it was just fine having him around for the day. Everything looks great. I'm sure I will call him again when it's time to do the exterior of the house.
Description of Work: We used Distinct Painting Company a week before Christmas to do an accent wall.

+ -1 moreIt went very well. I hadn't moved into the house when the painting was done, but Kane was trustworthy. He was there on a regular basis during the agreed-upon timeframe and got the work done. This house is two hours away from my last house and I was only able to be on site a couple of times, but it was not a problem. Kane is very meticulous and did great quality work. He is both very personable and very professional. I am pleased with the price. I got living room/kitchen/dining room bid for painting in my last home and nobody came in under $3,000 — and that was ten years ago. I will definitely call Kane when it's time to do the exterior painting.
Description of Work: Entire interior of house was painted: walls, ceilings, woodwork, doors (including the exterior of the front door). That includes a large living room, large kitchen, large master bedroom, two additional bedrooms, a dining room, two bathrooms, a laundry room and two hallways. Even the kitchen island was painted. Back patio had been mudjacked back into it's original position and needed to be caulked and sealed. There was a crack in the siding next to the back door and it needed to be filled before winter. Kane did all this for me, as well, and it is included in the price.

+ -1 moreDo call Distinct Painting. They do a great job! Do be specific about what you are looking for so they can work with you to provide you with the best service. Kane worked our small touch up job into his schedule. It took a little doing as we, my husband and I, have busy schedules and we needed to meet him at the vacant rental property. Since he has done work for us in the past we met up wioth him to let him into the property and left him with a basic run down of the areas about which we were especially concerned. He was done in only a few hours.
Description of Work: Kane did interior touch up painting for our rental property. He had done the same for us about two years ago and we were so pleased with the quality and cost of his service that we hired him again. We were originally referred to Kane by a friend.

He went above and beyond just painting he helped with little fix it jobs around our house too. He even spent the 4th of July outside prepping our house to be painted. His prices were very reasonable, he was always very professional, he was generally on time, and always communicated with us any changes or issues they he may have been having with the job. After he was done, we were very pleased with the results with the interior and exterior he did an overall great job. We will dill definitely call this company again for any future painting needs and recommend him to our friends.
Description of Work: Distinct Painting painted some of our interior rooms the entry way, living room, upstairs hallway and our master bedroom. Most of the interior areas at our home have 18 foot ceilings. He was also willing to help with some small jobs like changing a light bulb in the entry way light that is 15 feet up on the ceiling and repairing the front door frame that had come loose on the outside. He then painted the exterior of our house and even painted and hung up some shutters that we had purchased.

Description of Work: Kane was recommended to me by my interior designer. We scheduled the work, he showed up in a timely manner as promised, worked late when necessary, and actually finished the job ahead of schedule. He painted the entire interior of my home (walls, ceilings, doors, cabinets, baseboard and crown molding, etc..) and both myself and the designer were pleased with his work.
