 + -1 moreProject was never started or completed due to complete lack of responsiveness on the part of Mr. Shawn Miller and Classic Designs.
Description of Work: Shawn Miller of Classic Designs came to my house May 1 to discuss a pergola project. Mr. Miller stated he would have a preliminary design the next week. I never heard from Mr. Miller the next week. I attempted to contact him several times via email with project questions and clarifications. Mr. Miller never responded. I again attempted to reach Mr. Miller on or about May 15 via phone and an email. Mr. Miller responded that day with a brief text/email from an East Coast airport. He stated he had been sick the previous week, but Mr. Miller promised to get in touch with me the next day about the project. I never heard from Mr. Miller the next day, or for the next week.It is now May 23. Twenty-two days have passed since Mr. Miller first visited my house. I have never spoken to or seen Mr. Miller since May 1.My advice would be to avoid hiring Classic Designs for a project. I have wasted an entire month waiting on Mr. Miller and his empty promises.

 + -1 moreShawn Miller of Classic Designs did a complete analysis of my old deck, made recomendations for changes when we designed the new one, generated 3D design alternatives, provided final frame lumber & Trex decking material lists and a complete set of dimensioned drawings. I was able to perform the removal and reconstruction and Shawn answered a couple of installation questions along the way. He did a superb job on the design and chose a great multi-color scheme that I would never have considered. Do not do the design work yourself! The money I spent for Shawn's services as percent of the total project cost was minimal. Shawn would have done the labor as well, but I was on a budget and enjoyed the project.
