Description of Work: Installed underground conduit and cable from house to detached garage, and was able to suggest an excavation contractor to assist in the task. Inside garage, he installed a distribution panel, wiring for lighting, outlets, door lift and heating units. When drywall was finished he installed light fixtures, outlets, switches, thermostat and a baseboard heater. He and his helpers were friendly, knolegeable, prompt, and responsive.

I am very well satisfied with Jim's work overall but a bit disappointed he was unaware that the old ductwork for the exhaust fan could be a problem. Some research revealed that using the old 3" ductwork from the new 4" exhaust would create back pressure and increase the noise level. So, I give him an A+ on the electrical work, but a B on the mechanical portion of the installation. Having said that, I got good value for the money spent and wourl definitely use him again.
Description of Work: Jim installed a recessed light over the tub and a new, high effeciency exhaust fan in the guest bath.

He did a great job catering to my whims and changes. I will use him for my next projects, I have a few more buildings to work on.
Description of Work: Jim did a complete rewire of my home. It was built in 1874 and had not had any serious upgrades to the electrical since the house was electrified in approximately 1932. All knob and tube plus cloth wrapped wires, talk about a fire hazard. There were a total of 4 outlets in the house. The electrical is all up to date, no problems passing inspection and all the outlets and switches just where I wanted them. He did a great job catering to my whims and changes.

This master electrician was a sub-contractor for our basement remodel. I was doing some minor wiring (Network Cat5) when he was working on the basement. I was impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. He was on-time and on-schedule with the General Contractor and he even did some minor work for me on the side (install a new circuit in my garage). When I need to do more work on my house, he will be the first one that I plan on calling.
