I had a very good experience with this company. They were responsive to my situation and although it took a little longer than I had wanted for them to come take care of the problem, I understand that they were very busy and scheduled me as soon as they could. I appreciated Rick (the owner) coming early to get things started so as to speed things up for Jared while he finished another job before coming to my house. Both were very professional and friendly and explained my options not only for this job but for some additional work needed. I had used this company before and definitely will have them work on any upcoming plumbing needs. Excellent job!

On the Sunday night after Christmas, with my hot water heater shooting sparks, this company was the only one to answer my phone call, a definite plus. The woman who answered as very nice and they had someone out the next day. I can't say enough good things about the plumber they sent. He was punctual, professional, and took the time to answer all my questions about water heater maintenance. They had to send a second person to help him get the water heater into the crawl space and this subcontractor from Lowe's was also very nice. Be advised, they do hire subcontractors contrary to what the other reviews say, but he did not do any of the actual installing, he just helped with the heavy lifting so I do not see this as a problem at all. My only complaint is the price: the invoice just said $1,000. There was no break down of what I was paying for and when I asked how much the water heater was the plumber said he didn't know. I also did not receive my 5% off Angie's list discount and I told the woman who answered the phone's I was a member. I know I needed a shorter water tank which is more expensive but I don;t know how much with out an invoice. Update 1/5/14: I had to call the plumbers back out because my hot water was not lasting longer then 3 minutes in the shower. They came right away and when the original plumber could not figure out what was wrong, the owner of the company came out. He showed great concern for getting the job done right, which I appreciate. He was also very concerned about the temperature of the water not being too hot and burning my daughter, and that was great. I am holding off on showering until tomorrow since the owner told me to be careful with letting it adjust tonight, but he really seemed to know what he was doing so i'm sure it will be fine. For the record the part was defective, the plumber did not do anything wrong on the install. In response, It's true, I did not contact the office for a price break down but I did ask the plumber who was here how much the water heater itself cost and he could not answer. That still doesn't seem right to me that an employee would not know the cost of the labor or the product he was installing, or at very least be able to provide me with an invoice at the end of the job which could tell me. I'm glad you pay your men well. That's great to hear in this economy. I understand from the owner it was a difficult water heater to find in stock and if that information had been relayed to me I would have been understanding on the price as well. If you do not offer an Angie's list discount you should contact them and have them take it off your page. It says it at least twice at the top of the listing on their site. Perhaps this all can be chalked up to ineffective communication. Update 1/9/14: The owner himself has been out twice more to fix pre-existing problems NOT caused by the installation so I can have a nice hot shower. I am beyond happy with this company. I highly recommend this company.

The cost was free and that’s why they are pretty cool. They get a lot of work done through another company. The other company has subcontractors. They came out and just did the work basically for free. They were flexible and did the job right. There was no cost because it was under warranty. The main likes are their flexibility, generosity and professionalism. They were very professional.

Jared Hanes was quick to respond to my request for quote. Jared arrived on time at 8:00 am. laid protective blankets on our carpeted stairs and carpeted lower level floor. He was finished with in 75 minutes, cleanup the area and explained the features of the water heater. I will call Ace Hi when I have plumbing needs again.

Scheduler made every effort to accommodate my requested time of service which he was able to do. Plumber arrived on time. Assessed the issue and gave 2 options for types of hose bibs. He performed the work in an hour or so. Wore booties to protect my new carpet too. Courteous and professional, what you should expect from a Angie's list A rated firm.

One faulty heater in the basement (of two) was failing. Replaced with a top quality brand name. Fast, efficient and professional. They removed/disposed the old unit. A couple of years later one of the fittings had worked loose. They repaired that and replaced the second unit. In all very helpful. Industry prices; i.e. not discounted but not unfair. I have used them twice. I would do it again.

This was part of a purchase I made at Lowes. They provide installers. He was very fast and knew what he was doing. I was really impressed with him.

They did an even bigger job. They dug up a drain pipe from my basement out to the street and they replaced drain pipe on another rental property. I was very impressed on the young man that came out, he really knows what he is talking about. Plumbing business was fair on price. They had the job done in a very short period of time. That is probably one hundred twenty foot hole dug up, six feet deep to replace the drain.

Excellent Customer Service and very fair pricing. They are family owned and it shows with the care they give their customers.

Work performed in 2 hours. Everything worked as it should have although a new leak showed up later that they didn't notice during the initial work. But they came back right away and replaced some additional pipe and feeds to various water lines. That cost another $300. They also relocated the outdoor faucet that was not angled downward properly. So far everything seems to be working fine. They aren't cheap, but they do quality work and have a little wiggle-room to negotiate price.

Ace Hi came out to our house the next day and installed a kitchen sink and a bathroom sink. They were extremely professional and were very contentious of keeping the area clean. We ran into some issues but they were very quick to come up with cost effective solutions. I would definitely recommend them.

From what I can tell, the quality of the work looks good. However, their lack of professionalism and high prices will prevent me from ever using them again or recommending them. We have been busy remodeling our home and have used a lot of trades, Ace Hi Plumbing has far been the least professional. Right away they came into the house and decided to blast their radio as loud as possible. I would of minded less if they simply asked or even kept the radio to an acceptable level. What really amazed me about their lack of professionalism is that they constantly tried to have us change what we wanted because it would be easier. For example, part of the job was to install a new rough in our roman jetted tub. Several times they tried to have us move the current faucet locations because it would be "easier". In the end we refused and got what we wanted but their constant complaining left us regretting our plumbing choice. Another example of their lack of professionalism is that they did not bring a 2x4 to complete the job, even though they came by a few days earlier and I explained everything that needed to be done. Since they did not have a 2x4 they decided to search my garage for an extra 2x4. This went on for about 45 minutes which of course I was charged for. While the work was completed, it cost over $1300. I will not be using Ace Hi again.

Everything went seamlessly. Even though I had arranged a date for the work at Lowe's, Ace Hi called to confirm the date. The morning of the installation, the plumber called before coming. He came in, laid down some clean drop cloth over the carpet from the garage door to the basement door, then brought in the new water heater. Two hours later we had a brand-new heater. I had a rebate coming from the gas company. Have the plumber sign the rebate form while he's in your home. (I had to involve the folks at Lowe's. They said they see him all the time, so they graciously got him to sign the form and then sent it to me int he mail.)

They're very good at what they do, and I think they're just wonderful.

They were quick and very good, did everything very professionally, did not leave a mess, and the tub has not leaked since.

Had difficulty finding and reaching the clog, but they got it done.

We have a home warranty service contract thru our mortgage company and we were directed to use Ace-Hi as the service provider for plumbing issues. Called them on Mon morning and they sent a plumber out within two hours. Plumber (Jared) inspected toilet, called warranty company for approval to replace toilet, went and picked it up, making sure the color matched (eggshell), installed the unit, and entire job was completed just after lunch. Cost to us was just the deductible under our warranty service ($75), and looking at the receipt it showed the cost of the toilet was about $270. Work was done in an exceptionally timely manner, very professional, and Jared was very nice. Also, bathroom was very clean when work was completed. Would definitely use them again.
