+ 0 moreThere was a long delay - about 6 months - between the time we signed the contract and the time they actually installed the system on our house. This was during the time period when RGS was acquiring Syndicated Solar, so maybe that had something to do with the delay. The one real complaint I have is that they did not offer or recommend a critter guard for the solar array. This being Colorado, we ended up with a family of pigeons living in our solar system. They are noisy and crap all over everything. Now I am paying a pest animal control company $500 to have the pigeons removed and RGS wants over $1000 to install a critter guard to keep them away. I'm not allowed to install the guard myself or it voids the RGS warranty.
Description of Work: We had a solar system leased from RGS installed on our house.

+ -1 moreSolar system is up and running at capacity. First documents were signed on September 8th, project was completed on October 16th, and the utility passed the system for connection on November 22nd.
Description of Work: I cannot say enough about my experience with RGS Solar. From the beginning, the sales consultant, Mark Cirelli, was completely professional and yet casual and comfortable to talk to. My solar system has 38 panels, beautifully installed, on the West side of my roof. Everything was handled quickly and professionally. The contractor and installers were professional, friendly, and very open to communication/collaboration.

Description of Work: The long time for installation was really not the fault of RGS Energy. We originally signed a contract with Syndicated Solar to do our solar project in April 2013. This company then merged with RGS, and so the project wasn't completed until Feb. 2014. I suspect that this long delay was do to the merger distraction.
