HEAT WAVE STOVES & SPAS OF BOULDER

We received an estimate on a wood stove and were told it was in stock and that they had plenty. When we went back the next day, there was no longer the one we had received an estimate for. When we reminded them what they said the day before, they found one but insisted on a down payment to hold it. They assured us the estimate we received for installation would be valid with no changes to be expected. We changed the location of the placement once, right away. After that, everytime we spoke with them the estimate to install the stove went up. We received conflicting information depending on who we were speaking to about what we needed. At one point, the salesman said they were doing us a favor. We asked for our down payment back after all of the price changes and were forced to pay an exorbitant fee to "restock" a stove that was supposed to be already in the store. We felt like we were being given the run around. I would never do business with them again. We found another company to work with who didn't feel like they were doing us a favor.

Very nice people to work with, especially the father and son owners. They sold us our hot tub, and they have helped us service it for several years.

They are a family-owned business, very personable, & answered all my questions. They made a home visit after we had been to the store to ensure that stove we were looking at would fit in our fireplace & heat the space that we were intending it to heat. For installation day, they gave me an hour window for arrival (so I didn't have to be there all day unnecessarily). They arrived on time. They put down mats to keep my rugs clean. They worked quickly & effectively. Once the stove was installed, they provided a lesson in use & patiently answered all my questions.
