Description of Work: Leo & Kelly Brancheau in the last week We had BVT move all of our large items from our Townhome in Longmont to our new home in Lyons. They gave us a competitive bid, arrived on time and the guys were all very polite and hard workers. They broke down our beds, wrapped all of our furniture and even helped us take the rest of the small boxes we had packed on their truck. They treated each of our homes with respect and care and made sure all of the beds were put back together and set up where we needed them to be. Each of the men worked hard and kept to the schedule and time that was quoted to us. I highly recommend BVT, the men were fun and polite and we were charged exactly as we had beeen quoted. We had an excellent moving experience with this company and not only recommend them but would use their services again!! They made our move easy and stress free!

+ -1 moreJose, Jose and Alberto showed up right on time at our house. They got right to work. I appreciated their communication on things that they were not sure if they were to move, the protection they provided for my more fragile goods and did the work quickly and efficiently. We did the boxing of all of our smaller items and over the course of a few weeks, managed to move the smaller items ourselves, though about 30 boxes they ended up moving. They left two glass countertops at the old house but came by afterwards on their own time and delivered it to my house at no additional charge. I would whole-heartedly recommend using them and even though I hope I never move again, I would definitely use them especially for an in-town move like we did.

+ -1 moreThese two guys were amazing! The were courteous, punctual and if there was ever a question as to what was staying or what what to be packed they always asked. I could only hope that all the movers I ever have in the future were as amazing as these two men. They never complained once about having to drive in blizzard conditions or to work in freezing weather. They were careful to lay protective coverings down on the flooring since they were going in and out of the house and their feet were wet. They thought of everything to make our easy and stress free. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs help just packing up or actually moving from one place to another.
Description of Work: 2 men came with a truck and boxes (I had some boxes also) and packed up our house and garage in 1 day in a blizzard! We have lived in this 3600sq ft house for 12 years and over time have accumulated "stuff"! The were awesome. They bubble wrapped all my paintings and carefully wrapped all my valuable knick knacks as many of these things were going into storage for months as we were moving into an apartment for awhile. They finished packing on day 1 and came back on day 2 drove to the place we were storing it and unloaded everything......still in blizzard conditions! They were true miracle movers!

+ -1 moreBoulder Valley Transfer has performed two local moves for us, in 2004 and 2006, and in the next month will be handling the local portion of a cross-country relocation. All our interactions have been positive. This is a locally owned company that hires great people and fulfills or exceeds expectations. Our first big move, handled by another company, was a nightmare, with lost boxes and broken furniture. By contrast, the two moves BVT has done for us have been incredibly fast, efficient, and careful. They work quickly but take care to protect possessions and dwellings during the process. They are friendly and courteous and seem to take pride in their work. I highly recommend them.
Description of Work: Two local moves. We packed ourselves; they loaded, moved, and unloaded us.

+ -1 moreOriginally it looked like it was going well. But after we signed the contract it didn't work out so well. I felt the workers were unnecessarily slow, and they charged us for a break that we hadn't approved of. I ended up emailing the president of the company, but he didn't email me back.
Description of Work: They helped us to pack everything up and move locally.
