Phifer Locksmith Service

I scheduled for Phifer to come on 10-19-17. On that morning, I spoke with him and he indicated that he was leaving his location and would be at my home a little after the agreed upon scheduled hour. He never showed up. He never responded to multiple voice mail messages we left for him. DO NOT hire this person to do any work for you. Clearly, he cannot be relied upon.

Great! He was prompt, efficient, reasonable, and pleasant.

They did not service my area and my money was refunded. You should not require a grade if the provider was not used.

Not responsive to scheduling. Am tired of pursuing him/her to set up a time. Never even left a name or contact phone number in emails.

He arrived during the scheduled time period. Upon arrival, he came to the door, I told him I wanted the deadbolt keyed to a key that matched my other deadbolts. He went and keyed the new lock to the key I had given him. He was efficient, and did the job in a timely manner. I have already recommended him to one of my neighbors. I would hire him again for the same services.

Adjusted the pins and fixed it. James got here quickly and was very professional. Cost was less than another locksmith I called. Very happy with the level of service.

Was easy to set up an appointment over text, James showed up on time, even though I didn't. Work was done very quickly and painlessly, taking about 45 minutes. While he wasn't able to take credit card payment, he waited while I ran to the ATM. overall, painless and simple, the way it should be.

I sent multiple messages and called many times without a call back after I purchased his services on Angie's list. Waste of time, I finally had to ask Angie's list for a refund

I highly recommend Phifer Locksmith. He was punctual, quick, and made sure everything worked before leaving. He had to drill a hole for the deadbolt I needed added, and there was no sign of drilling etc. after the fact. Absolutely clean. I consider his pricing to be excellent - the re-keying was $123 and the deadbolt an additional $25.

It was easy to schedule an appointment (within a few days) and he arrived right on time. Spent about an hour rekeying 4 doors and 2 storm doors and matching the keys to the doors. He was courteous and professional.

James was very professional. He showed up at the scheduled time, he was actually early which was great. He quickly looked at the job and got right to work. He was efficient and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend him and use his services in the future again.

James was on time and got right to work. He rekeyed 6 locks on my 3 doors so they all use the same key. No issues whatsoever!

I hate to do this as I've used James before, so if there was some strange circumstance that occurred, I'll be happy to retract my review here. I got in touch with him on Monday evening and arranged for him to meet my tenant for a simple re-key job. My tenant even got in touch with him on Monday evening to confirm details for Tuesday. Tuesday he didn't show. No response to phone or text. I waited till late Weds to go with another locksmith, hoping James might call. Nothing.

much less than acceptable. I needed my front door lock/deadbolt replaced. I called this guy twice and he never responded. I've used him in the past and he was okay. I understand that he might have had other things but he never responded.

I was able to get in touch with Phifer to schedule the first appointment without too much trouble, for about 4pm. The day of the appointment, he sent an email asking to cancel because he had a doctor's appointment rescheduled that conflicted. I responded and asked to reschedule for another day and didn't hear back from him. I emailed again a few days later and asked to reschedule one day late afternoon or on a weekend (since I understood that he would schedule evenings and weekends sometimes). He responded several days later by providing two random times and didn't even acknowledge my request for an evening or weekend. I responded, asking if an evening/weekend time would be possible, or how late in the day he COULD come, and didn't get a response. I emailed again about a week later and let him know that if he didn't respond in the next 24 hrs or so I would just cancel the deal and ask for a refund, and he got back to me a day or so later and said that I should just do that. This company might do good work, but they clearly don't need the business very much. Definitely not someone you should hire if you have any urgent locksmith needs.

James came out and replaced my broken lock. He was very friendly and nice. He also replace the locks and deadbolts on my front and garage side door. He was very quick and efficient. Very affordable he charged me a reasonable service fee and parts.

No show. I scheduled an appointment for James to come out 10 days ahead of time. Because I was concerned over Phifer's AL reviews that said he was a "no show" and wasn't great with punctuality, I asked him to call me an hour or two ahead of my scheduled appointment to let me know if he would be running late or if he was unable to make it. I made it explicitly clear that I was going to have to leave work early to meet him and he agreed to provide me this confirmation come appointment time. The time came and he did not call. I then called and left him a voicemail to see if he was still able to make it and I did not hear back. I stupidly left work in the offchance that perhaps he would show. Nope, never did. I called and left another voicemail and got no response. I waited and waited and waited some more and he never showed. More importantly, he did not even return my phone call. Simple courtesy, lousy service. I will NEVER be calling James again. Do not waste your time hoping he will come.

Outstanding work by James - on time, knew exactly what to do (I provided the hardware), asked questions to ensure clarity of my direction, and did all of this with a great, easy-going attitude. He is a perfectionist and did all of his to a level of quality that shows he cares about his customer - For the Boulder/Longmont area, his cost of service (for almost two hours of work) was only $80. If I ever have any "locksmith" needs, I will ask for his service again.

He was right on time, friendly and very efficient. We had just moved in, so things were hectic when he arrived. He got the locks changed and provided plenty of new keys.

The service went fine. They did exactly what the two deals had stated. Scheduling took a bit longer than I had expected, but there were no issues with that.
