In sum, Greg Lynch was an absolute godsend in the wake of the Floods of 2013! His professionalism, integrity, responsiveness, work ethic and work quality, great communication, thoughtfulness, good humor, and fair-and-reasonable pricing came at a hugely difficult time: the floods hit while I was home from work recovering from major hip surgery that left me with no, and then, compromised mobility. Despite the horrible situation that our community found itself in, Greg provided a quick and honest assessment and estimate. He then worked long days to execute the work quickly and to high standards. He is a consummate professional whose services I plan to use in the future and whose work I very highly recommend to others. (Some quick anecdotes to show what kind of caring and responsible person Greg is: As I said, I was and am in the middle of a months-long recovery from surgery. Completely on his own initiative, Greg would bring my trash cans in from the street. He took excellent care of his tools of the trade and was extremely neat with my home throughout his work. He was great with my parents, who were staying with me during my recovery, and has asked about them since the job ended. He cares...about his work and his clients.)

Greg did an excellent job of helping us recover after flood damage in our basement. He replaced the lower walls after a "flood cut" took out water-damaged paneling and drywall. He evaluated our situation and added new options for our consideration. He improved our own ideas. He brought us samples of materials, stains, and molding to choose from. Once the walls and trim were restored, he put up brackets and shelving. During the project he coordinated with the flooring contractors to make sure the baseboards would be put on at the proper height and in the appropriate sequence. He made numerous suggestions that improved the project. He suggested a narrow span of new shelves in a spot that will be very useful. We are very pleased with the final result. The room looks better than it did before. He also repaired a series of old cracks in a dining room ceiling. The cracks were in a very noticeable spot. Now the cracks are completely smoothed and invisible. Greg wastes no time. He is considerate about dust and noise. He plans ahead to make things happen efficiently. He did considerable prep work before he arrived on site. He is fast and neat. He pays attention to details. He wants things done correctly. He took extra time, and consulted with us, to make details look good. He spent extra time helping us move furniture and belongings back into the basement. He made sure he put things where we wanted them to be. He didn't leave until he had helped with whatever we needed. He would confirm his schedule with us and always came when promised. We feel we got a lot for what he charged. We definitely plan to use him again. Working with Greg was a good experience for us.

Greg was great! I had planned on waiting until after the post-flood rush to have my spare bedrooms finished, but then family decided to come visit for the holidays. Greg squeezed me into his schedule and was very accommodating. He came out and explained exactly what was possible in the time available, and how I could help maximize that. His work was excellent, as was his professionalism.

Called when he said he'd call, showed-up when he said he'd show-up and completed the work when he said it wold be completed. A rare thing these days! Excellent work all around!!

The work Greg did was excellent quality but even more importantly he was incredibly responsive. He arrived when he said he would, he made contact when he said he would and he did not mind when I added a few more things to the list. I contacted 2 other folks from Angie's List but neither responded or followed up as punctually as Greg did. I would certainly hire him again and recommend him to my friends.

Greg is an exceptionally efficient, enthusiastic, and high quality service provider. He prepared my new house for my wedding guests, and was relentless in ensuring that their experience of the home was comfortable. I must emphasize efficient: When he puts his head down to work, he is working. No fooling around, distractions, idle chit-chat. The amount of paint the guy could roll in a short time is stunning, and the results beautiful. His personal style is a nice blend of very direct and to the point, yet light-hearted and fun. This was helpful as I was in the middle of making color and hardware selections. It is also helpful in ensuring the project stayed in scope. The project came in on time and budget, which is really unheard-of in this industry. Greg was very clear in staying within the lines of his expertise, and provided helpful recommendations for other service professionals. I definitely recommend Greg for any painting or "handy-man" job. My writing can't convey how much I appreciated working with this motivated and skilled professional.

Excellent experience. It was tricky getting to the window, but Greg managed nicely. He was in the middle of 4 other projects that day, and managed to get us taken care of. He was friendly, fast, and we would DEFINITELY call him again for other projects around the house.

Greg is an artist. We gave him our idea and he made it happen. And not just "yeah, that looks great" but "Wow! That's amazing." It's like being in an entirely different house when walking into that bedroom. There is no way we could have ever pulled that off if we tried doing it ourselves. Greg was polite, courteous and prompt. He communicated frequently and never left us wondering what was happening or when he would be back. And the price? Yeah, totally affordable for the quality of work. My wife and I are already planning our next project for him.

Gary was very prompt, did what he said he would do and in a very timely manner. He worked very hard and earned his money. The work looked very good.

We found Greg on Angie's list under interior painters. We read many reviews and decided to give him a call. We left a short message explaining our need to get this townhouse completely painted and we needed the work to be done in a very short timeline. We further explained that we would be closing on this house in a week and we would not be allowed in to let him see the job ahead of time. He was very accommodating and understanding of our current situation and was willing to work with us without actually seeing the house. Real estate photos on the internet and my explanation that every wall was a different color was all he had to work with. He did everything we asked him to do and more. ( We ended up adding a couple extra rooms at the end). He did the entire job in 4 days and did an excellent job! He was a very nice gentlemen, easy to contact, easy to talk to, hard working and very much a professional as well as a perfectionist. We will definitely use him again and will be recommending him to anyone we know who is looking for a top-notch painter!

We recently renovated a townhouse and the drywall company asked if we would be interested in having them spray and roll the paint as well for an additional cost. This was a huge mistake. They left major streaks, didn't caulk, fill or sand wood trim. We called Greg to see if he could come in and fix the mess. He responded quickly and repainted and fixed trim in several rooms while we were out of town to make our home look great. He also gave us an excellent suggestion on how to improve the look of our old stair railing by putting a wood cap on the banister which he painted for us. He was very professional and even cleaned up some of the mess the dry wall company left behind that included cleaning windows and trying to get paint off of the new wood floors. We were very impressed with his skill and attention to detail and will certainly use him again.

I called to get estimate for small handyman project. Even though I left a message and told Greg that it would be a few hours of odds and ends jobs, he returned my call promptly and courteously. I utlimately found someone who would be available sooner (the same day I called), so I didn't use Greg, but I really appreciated his courtesy.

I would definitely use Greg again and highly recommend him. Having spent some time as a commercial house painter, I like to think I know a thing about painting and Greg is a cut above. He's neat, works fast, and is as diligent about prep work as he is about finish coat. .

Greg does excellent work, prepares for the project in advance, discusses the project and options as it proceeds and pays attention to details. He is friendly and outgoing. I'll do business with Greg again!

Greg runs an extremely tight ship and did a fantastic job on all aspects of this project. He was on time for all appointments, and always conducted himself with total professionalism. His bid was accurate (even deducted $200 when we decided to pass on painting some exposed beams that were in the original bid), and he even finished a day ahead of schedule! Also, he helped us choose colors for a tricky accent wall that we had planned. What really sets Greg apart though is his attention to detail, not only the sharp lines and corners that he paints, but they way that he plans, communicates, and cleans up all the way through the project makes working with him really easy. We knew that we weren't going to be able to be home much while Greg was working, so we were looking for someone that we could trust to be self-motivated and a hard worker and Greg was definitely the man for the job.He even came back on his own time to re-paint the insides of some shelves after we decided we didn't like the color that he had helped us pick out. We would use Greg for any kind of painting job in the future in a heartbeat!

Greg is always great to work with. He was able to install four ceiling fans on one day, then came back a week later and installed the last three ceiling fans. Greg is fast and efficient. We wouldn't use anyone other than Greg for any home services that align with what he does. He's good about letting you know if something is out of his "sweet spot". Thanks Greg!

Mr. Lynch was great. He was very professional and very prompt. He delivered his materials a couple of days before he was scheduled to start the job so that he could "hit the ground running". His work ethic is unsurpassed. He arrived promptly in the morning, worked hard all day (only taking a quick break to eat a sandwich) and only left after he had accomplished what he had expected to accomplish for the day. The icing on the cake was the last day he was there (a Friday), he was painting the bathroom. The colors that my wife had picked out weren't working out. He wasn't very happy with the colors and convinced my wife to change them. Whereas most contractors would have just finished the job "as-is" and left early, Greg wanted the job to look right. So, he worked late and for no extra charge. I'm so pleased with his work and work ethic that I'm looking for other things that I can hire him for!

I'm extremely pleased with Greg's work. The painting and drywall repair work he did for us is of high quality and Greg was both personable and professional. His fee was commensurate with the other bid I had and he did some extra work for us that I'd requested and also some extra touch-ups of his own initiative. Greg worked efficiently, was reliable and easy to communicate with. My sense is that he is a nice, trustworthy and straightforward person with a solid work ethic. I would definitely use Greg Lynch again and will recommend him to friends.

Greg is amazing! He transformed areas of our house that had been neglected for years because we thought they needed major renovation, but Greg made it look sparkling in only two days with paint and stain! He is an amazingly hard worker, with excellent painting skills, and he completely understood our needs, and was committed to making his schedule match our needs. He can do more in the shortest amount of time of any painter I've ever used, and the work is top quality; it does not look like he rushed. I highly recommend him.

Within a few days of my calling, Greg stopped by to look at what needed to be done and gave us some advice on fixing a few things ourselves. Our job was small (about half day) so Greg fit us in between a couple of other jobs. What he did in that half day, would have taken me several days (and lots of cursing!) because it involved a fair amount of cutting in around carpeting, etc. The stairwell now looks great and will definitely help us sell our house when the time comes. And like someone else mentioned, many other "professionals" don't even bother calling you back or following up. Not so with Greg -- he was on time, efficient, and reasonably priced.

Greg did a great job. We called him earlier in May, as we needed some rooms in our house painted prior to moving and listing it. I did not get a hold of him but left a message and he called back that evening. I had also called four other painters, of which only two of those four called back. Greg arranged to meet me a couple of days later so he could scope out the work required. He was prompt and on-time, which is good because I'm out of town a lot. Before meeting, he inquired about when the project needed to be completed, and let me know when he would be available. After he gave me a quote, I went ahead and contracted with him to do the work. (Only one of the other two painters actually gave me a quote, and Greg had a lower bid to begin with). I also asked him to do two other walls that he hadn't looked out, which he said he would be able to fit in. Greg did the job in the time he specified and it was a great paint job, clean lines, etc. He painted over two rooms that had really dark reds and blue colors, so he had to do three coats in those rooms. He offered suggestions as to the paint choice too. Greg was great. We've already asked him to come to our new house and hang ceiling fans for us. Woo Hoo! Thanks Greg!

I've used Angie's list for at least 10 years with great success. Regarding Greg Lynch, however, I would put him at the top of all contractors and experiences. He is incredibly gifted, efficient, and able to work through construction challenges with the eye of an artist having an incredible strong work ethic. What's unique about Greg is that he doesn't mind taking charge of creative ideas and implementing them with perfection. Our laundry room is located in the basement and was a total disaster completed with "home made" contruction that dates to somewhere in the early 1970's. Crooked walls, hideous finishes, and the rest of it falling apart. Greg was able to completely redo the entire room and leverage what he could of the existing construction while providing a showroom like finish. The work was absolutely outstanding. He installed a new ceiling with finish, new finish to all walls, remodel closet, and a new floor. The detail of the trim, finishes, and painting was outstanding and make the room look brand new!

We needed to re-paint and put baseboards in our studio to put it on the market, so I contacted several interior painters. Although the other painters I contacted for bids were referred to me by people I know, and I didn't know Greg, I ended up going with him for three reasons. One, his Angie's list references are glowing. Two, he was the only person I contacted who was not flakey (I hate flakey!) Even though ours was a smaller job, he took it seriously and gave it all the attention he would a larger job. He consistently got back to me and was direct and forthright in his communication. Finally, his rates seemed fair compared to the other bids I got. Now that all is said and done, we made a great choice! I am SO glad we went with him. He did everything he said he would do, when he said he would do it. The place looks great. I am a perfectionist, and I notice little things that don't bug normal people. So if I think it looks great, it probably does. His workmanship is impeccable, and he is both efficient and hard working. I would definitely hire him again.

I'm giving Greg an A++. He did a great job painting my living room and stairs. he is very fast and clean. I definitely recommend him on Angie's List and to all my friends and neighbors.
