About us
Interior Work Only...residential painting is what started Lynch home Services almost 30 yrs ago but I do a considerable amount of drywall work, water damage repairs, new drywall install, texture & of course all interior painting. I do a lot of carpentry including baseboard installation, door & window trim, hanging new pre-hung doors, installing cabinets, wainscot on walls etc. Basement finishing from bare walls to complete framing of all walls, insulation if needed, all drywall, doors hung, baseboards, paint, etc. all done to code. I especially enjoy updating & remodeling by completely transforming that entire room for you. I charge by the job, not by the hour & estimates are always free. I'm extremely reliable, professional, efficient & neat. I pay more attention to detail than most contractors & I take a lot of pride in my work, my reputation, my honesty & integrity. I have a few contractor friends that help with certain specific jobs. On occasion it may just be one of them doing the work but I'm pretty much always there working as I enjoy the actual physical labor of what I do. I will never sub anything out to strangers, I want you to be completely comfortable with me in your home....you'll be in great hands with Lynch Home Services!

Greg stayed in frequent contact by email as we worked out the details and timing of the work. I was concerned about the high ladder work and the honey bees that love to feed on the ivy. Greg willingly signed a liability waiver form to give me extra piece of mind about all of that. The work was done to my satisfaction & on schedule.
I considered hiring Greg to also repair a fence, but we mutually decided that would best be left to someone else, since a special license is required for fence work in Boulder. Greg's specialty is interior painting & in future I'll keep him in mind for painting and certain other handyman jobs.Chris M.

Greg returned my call the same day I left a message. He scheduled my work for early the next week around my busy schedule. He arrived promptly every day and worked all day long with only a break for lunch. He efficiently coordinated my multiple tasks so there was no "down time". He worked with me to get the right color match for the deck stain and was able to precisely cut the lattice so that there was no wasted product. He left things at the end of the day so that my dog could go out without getting into trouble. His work was neat and professional and he cleaned up after the job was completed. I would definitely recommend him to my friends.

My husband was going to restain our deck for our daughter's graduation party but broke his wrist, so by the time I called Greg it was late in the game. Greg was terrific. He was busy, but found time to come out and brainstorm about how to deal with the crummy opaque stain that was peeling. One thing that's unique about Greg -- I've never met a contractor who's as eager to fit your work in. He had to schedule around rain, other jobs, etc., but kept in touch the whole time and showed up at the earliest dry window available. Since we were originally planning to do the work ourselves, we didn't have a big budget for it, and Greg helped us keep costs down. He rented a sander (something not usually in his bailiwick, but we couldn't afford companies that usually do this), replaced loose nails, etc., that would get in the way, and gave the deck a beautiful new surface. He also helped us pick a rich, dark color that we love. I think he shored up some wobbly stairs, too, because they seem firmer now--although he didn't charge anything extra. We've hired Greg a few times now -- for painting, fix-ups, the deck -- and his work always surpasses our expectations. The man is a find!

I had a great experience with Greg. He met me after work hours to scope the project. This was key given my work schedule. He assessed the work quickly, found we had matching paint already in the house we bought - to save costs of repainting EVERYTHING! Given I was away and under time constraints, I trusted Greg with a key and working while I was traveling.
He took a small deposit and handled everything from there. The work was done exceptionally well, and looks fantastic. I would use Greg again without any reservations.

This is the best paint work we've ever seen and he cleaned up and completed the job seamlessly - we couldn't tell he had even been there except for our beautiful new walls. He also placed some furniture for us that the movers couldn't because he was painting. Terrific guy! Great work! Can't wait to have him back for all our other walls and exterior trim.

My house is listed for sale and I had a different painter lined up for my painting project on 4/20/12. That person called the night before work was to be commenced and informed me that he had broken a rib and could not do the work.
I looked on Angie's list and put in a few calls to local painters, Greg responded very quickly and came out within 45 minutes to see the scope of work to give me an accurate estimate. He was concerned that I had lost my painter for the day along with the fact that I had a showing in the morning and went to great lengths to work my job into his schedule so that I could have the work completed that very same day! He stayed until 8:30 pm on a Friday night to make sure everything was completed.The work was very professional and everything looks great.
Greg puts his heart into his work, and it shows!

Greg responded immediately to my call for an estimate. He came to my home in a very timely manner and when we accepted his bid he worked with our schedule. The wallpaper ended up being lots more work than he had expected but he did an excellent job and prepared the walls for texture, even the drywaller was very impressed at how well the walls had been prepared. He stained a beam in the kitchen that needed to match with what was already there and did an excellent job. When he painted he always used a primer first and then applied two coats of paint. He works fast and does an excellent job. We highly recommend Greg.

We had contacted him previously to get a whole house quote for paint, and then later a separate quote for just ceilings. Our schedules didn't allow us to work together then. So I'm very glad we had the chance to work with him this time around. We've heard nothing but compliments on his work from friends coming by to look at the various stages of progress- and the other contractors who come by to work. He is a one-person crew. You know exactly who will be coming to the house and doing the work- and he takes clear pride and responsibility for his work. He is detail-oriented and careful (as evidenced by his efforts in removing certain light fixtures, doors, etc. to get the kind of precision he wants without negatively affecting the furnishings). We don't hesitate to recommend him to others.

Greg was easy to get in touch with and he followed up on our request for an estimate almost immediately. Once we accepted the estimate, he was able to do the work within a few business days. He painted quickly but with amazing quality and attention to detail. He asked relevant questions that ensured we would get what we wanted and prevented him from doing re-work. Even though our walls were difficult to paint (rough plaster) and we requested zero VOC paint after the estimate, he did not change the price. He acknowledged our Angie's list membership and gave us these perks because of it (or maybe he's just a nice guy). During his painting job, we asked him on the fly if he had time to replace our ceiling fan. Even though he had a booked schedule, he made time to accomodate our request and charged a reasonable amount even though he was probably inconvenienced. We will definintely use Greg in the future for jobs around the house - big or small.

Very well. Greg is truly a "power worker" - he is completely straight forward, focused and constantly VERY HARD through out the day. He does the work of 2 people and I loved knowing that no time was wasted. He was always on time and completed the work per our original schedule.
We are very happy with the results and the end product looks better than I ever thought it could have considering what he had to work with.

I found Greg on Angie's list and I have to say, he is very professional and an expert in painting and handyman repairs. I live out of state and have a rental in the Denver metro area, so my situation is much different than a lot of others looking for a quality individual to take care of painting and handyman needs. I have never met Greg; I've only talked to him over the phone and through email. Greg did a great job with the painting and repairs, and he did it all very quickly at a great price. I know this because he and I spoke quite a bit during the job, and I had several people tell me how the painting and repairs turned out when the job was complete.

I had a large dirt crawl space that I needed for storage but it was filled with rocks, dirt, and was very uneven. I contacted Mr. Lynch and told him my dilemma and he came up with a wonderful idea to frame the area and cover it with sheets of OSB subflooring which now has greatly expanded my ability to store unused furniture and other household items . He showed up when he promised, worked hard, stayed late and finished the job in quick order. I highly recommend him-- he is a true professional and gentleman worthy of special trust and confidence.

I would without doubt hire Greg Lynch again for any of my painting needs. His work was excellent and he was very professional and prompt in both responding to my initial request for an estimate (same day) and also scheduling the work and getting it done. I would loved to have hired him or the entire job but did not have the money to do that so I just had him to the entryway which was very high and I was not comfortable painting. Greg knew that I was going to be doing the rest of the job myself. He was nice enough to leave his tall extension ladder for me to use because he was not going to need it in the immediate future. He offered to give me tips on how to do some things as I worked on my own. All around a great guy to work with. His service is without a doubt way above and beyond what I expected. I have had some bad experiences with people in the construction industry and Greg gave me faith in people in this industry again. His estimates were exactly what he charged me and he always arrived promptly when he said he would. I would encourage anyone who has painting or drywall repair needs to give Greg a call, you won't be disappointed.

I found Greg Lynch by going to the local paint store and asking the owner if he knew of a honest, reliable, and adept painter. He handed me a card and said that this was the guy with those exact qualifications. When I first called Lynch Home Services, Greg was out of the state but he called me back the next morning and set up an appointment. His first job was to repair holes from old curtain rods and paint a French door. The second job was to repaint a living room and do some accent painting in another area of the house. He is very professional, works in a timely manner, and does an excellent job of cleaning up after himself. His prices are very affordable, he does an outstanding job, and I highly recommend him.
