+ -1 moreBeware when dealing with Roc. He's devious and sloppy. If you are not extremely careful, he will lead you to believe he charges $120/day. But, when it's time to pay him he really charges $50 per hour or $400 for an eight hour day. So some advice: 1) Don't deal with him. 2) If you do, get the rate he charges in writing. 3) Negotiate a better hourly rate.
Description of Work: Repair drain, re-stain trim around window, hung pictures, install desk drawer, etc.

+ -1 moreWhat a great guy! My son and I were removing carpet to prepare for laminate floors, and Roc lent us his tools and showed us how to do it, giving us some 'tricks of the trade' that made the job easier. Then at the end of the job, he hauled a freezer for me (no charge). Its the little extra things he does that endears him to you. Plus he's got a great attitude. Can't be beat! One thing though, he doesn't like tearing out carpet!!! Seems like everything else he can do.
Description of Work: Various, Painting several rooms and hallways, Hanging doors, changing out light fixtures, scraping nasty grout from a shower, and regrouting, fixing sliding doors, Was there 2 full days and 3 part time days. He tells you when he will be there, and he's pretty close to right on.

+ -1 moreRoc came in and happily masked and painted and completed the work in about 4 days. He's got a good attitude which I appreciate. He also put up my new bathroom towel racks for no additional charge, and then helped me put together 2 large heavy metal shelves that were delivered for an additional $20.00.
Description of Work: Painted 11 doors, 1 bathroom, 1 water closet, Living Room, Dining Room, & 2 bedroom walls. I bought the paint.
