This carpet cleaning process is AMAZING, and Wendy of Full Spectrum Carpet is a bona fide miracle worker! We had several large, extremely difficult Tumeric (!!) stains set for weeks into our BEIGE carpet and Wendy was able to remove them 100% while keeping the original carpet color intact. She (literally) saved us $1600+ in replacement cost as this was a 200 square foot room in a rental house that we are vacating in 2 weeks. We are beyond grateful for her expertise and have already called her back to take care of another stain in the same house, with 100% success once again. Thank you, Wendy! The details of the carpet stains Wendy was able to remove: We had a 10", an 8" and two 5" TUMERIC stains in our beige carpet from when I fed our dog a bunch of tumeric in her food and she then threw up multiple times around the house while we were gone for the day... So, between the dye (tumeric), the acid (from her stomach) and the heat of her body, these stains were set indelibly into the carpet. They glowed NEON YELLOW and the largest stain was directly under a window in the sunlight. We literally thought we were going to have to replace the entire carpet, and I had already made 2 trips to Home Depot to match the carpeting and price the carpet, carpet pad and installation (over $1600, btw...). That day, my fiance' found one of Wendy's postcard advertisements at a coffee shop, showing "Before" and "After" pictures of various stains and saying that she was able to dye the carpet back to its original color if the cleaning process left a lighter spot in that area. We figured we had nothing to lose, so we called and scheduled her to come out the next day. She offered to try, and if it wasn't working, only charge us for a travel fee and we could go ahead and replace the carpet. Well, her method WAS working, but very slowly, so she spent 5 HOURS with multiple professional-grade organic cleaners and a handheld steam cleaner, plus many rounds of scrubbing, elbow grease and warm water rinses before we let it dry. Fingers crossed. A couple of days later, I rented a Rug Doctor and cleaned the entire room -- when the carpet was dry, the huge, neon-yellow blotches of Tumeric were simply GONE. We can't even tell exactly where they were, and we had stared at them for weeks trying to figure out how to get rid of them. Nothing we tried on our own made the slightest difference. Another carpet cleaning company came out to look at the stains and literally said, "You're screwed!" (Professional, right?) Not Wendy. She immediately told me, "I'll do my best" and then she made it happen. She never gave up, just kept steaming and scrubbing for hours until the stains were gone. We are beyond grateful to Wendy for saving us not only $1600, but the hassle we would have had to go through when we are in the process of moving and trying to get our new place set up in the next 2 weeks.
