+ -1 moreThe tech knew what he was doing. Took off the agitator and replaced clutches. Checked the overall operation of the washing machine. Recommended replacing coupler and water pump. Had coupler but not correct pump on his truck so I decided to do so at another date and time. All in all, it went well.
Description of Work: Replaced clutches in washing machine agitator.

+ -1 moreI called serveral companies to come fix my front load washer rubber seal that was leaking. Ford Appliance was most expensive and not very friendly. I needed my washer fixed ASAP so I used Ford. He came to my house in a timely manner, was able to fix the leak within a few hours.
Description of Work: The seal on my front load washer was leaking from the front. There was a spilt down the rubber seal that caused it to leak. I called the Company Ford Appliances to fix the washer, he called back within a 4 hour window. Was not very friendly on the phone or in person but I guess you do not pay for attitude service. He was professional, in being on time and competing the work.

+ -1 moreThere were ssome confusion about the date and time of the appointment. They did come out to our house on a Saturday, but were a little late. He did try severa; different things to determine the problem, but were unable to do so.
Description of Work: They came out to check on a lound noise our refrigerator was making. They called to explain they would be a little late. They did show up a few minutes late, but were apologetic about it. THe person then listened to the noise and was not able to pinpoint its location. He did clean around the compressor and made sure this was OK. The person did try to get it resolved,but was not able to so. We still have the noise.

+ -1 moreWhen I called him, he was here within a few hours! He had the part he needed in the truck, and was able to fix the refrigerator very quickly. He was able to quickly and effectively assess what the problem was, and kept me updated about what he was finding. He also, while he was here, cleaned out a bunch of vents and stuff and said that would help the refrigerator function much better (he's right - it is functioning better), and volunteered some advice on keeping it working longer. He was friendly and he was right on time for when he said he'd be here.
Description of Work: Fixed the refrigerator, which had stopped cooling.

+ -1 moreI was very impressed with the friendliness of the rep, his professionalism, and the level of customer service. While I elected not to employ their services for this repair, they will definitely be the first company I call in the future.
Description of Work: My washer had broken down so I called Ford's Service. I explained the problem and the rep said he thought he knew what the cause was. He then asked me the make and model of the unit and told me he would get back to me with an estimated price for parts and repair. He called back within an hour with the estimate and said that the cost would be high due to the scarcity of the needed part (it was an older model washer). He then suggested that, since it was an older model, that I may simply want to replace the unit rather than pay him such a high price to repair it. I agreed with him and asked him if there was a charge for his time in coming up with the estimate. He said, "No, not at all" and wished me a good day.

+ -1 moreWe called to ask for a repair and were given a 2-hour window on the same day. The repairman called before arriving early in the time frame. He diagnosed the problem and explained the cost for replacement parts and labor charges. We agreed to the repair and even ordered an additional part (water filter). He returned at a time convenient to our schedule and completed the work promptly and efficiently. He made sure that he cleaned the area after working.
Description of Work: Our side-by-side GE refrigerator/freezer was not cooling properly.
