Very knowledgable and skilled, detailed quote, higher priced than most contractors, but the quote I received was much more thorough and addressed issues others did not. Good quality work. Glen the owner was hands on on the job, and did a very good job of explaining what was to be done, and why. It took almost two months to get concrete tile from California to Colorado, but they matched up the 10 year old tile very well.

The roof repair was a professional job from beginnning to end. The presentation and explanation of materials and options was very clear, and I was encouraged to call the contractor with any questions. As a single woman, I felt that my questions were answered in a way that I did not need to seek outside help in making decisions or in getting extra input regarding installation or the materials themselves. The work went much faster than I anticipated. The workers were efficient, never intrusive ( did not ask to use the bathroom, etc.), were careful of the landscaping and patio areas, and returned everything to its original state--perhaps better! The contractor insisted on city inspections and has indicated that he will return periodically throughout the year to make sure there have been no changes or repairs needed due to settling. The addition of a solar tube in my bathroom has made a wonderful difference--now, I wish I had added a few more! I can recommend Avalanche Specialty Construction with the highest confidence to anyone needing new roofing or the many other services they provide.
