These guys were AWESOME: respectful, on time, responsive, clean, detailed, and friendly. They worked with me because I had to reschedule twice because of dust from local landscaping issues and they fit me in when the work was done and the dust was gone. Sean always responded quickly and with patience. Every night the grounds were cleaned up. I would hire these guys again in a heart beat.

Although the estimate was midrange to high among the several estimates, the service and product was well worth it. Sean was careful in looking over a 25 year old house and marking selected areas of siding and trim that needed replacement and that needing refinishing before painting. A very well mannered and quiet crew pressure washed and calked the entire house and then spray and brush painted the house. Sean walked over the entire house and deck with me at the completion of the job before final payment. The yard was left immaculate despite a lot of floral plantings close to the house. I strongly recommend this small business. In our case, they were honest, straightforward and delivered on the commitments.

We had an excellent experience with Dustin and his crew! They finished the job much faster than we expected and they did great work – we are so pleased. We were really impressed with the fact that they would not accept our final payment until we had completed the walk through to make sure that we were 100% satisfied with their work. Really great experience. Dustin took time to give us an accurate quote and measured each room. His team arrived on time each day and did great work. We were a bit nervous because it was a big investment for us, but we are very happy with the work! I'd highly recommend them for interior painting.

I can't say enough positive about this company. My impresslon of Dustin, the owner, is that he is very pleasant and laid back. He surveyed the work to be done, had a cup of coffee and casual conversation and produced a bid with a very generous Angies List discount. The work was completed in a timely manner by a professional, Fernando, who was also very pleasant and easy to work with. If there were an A++ rating they are qualified for the work done here.

Dustin and Co were ver responsive and got the job done asap. He left one man at our house to do the job. We thought, "what? Just one guy?" But this guy was amazing! He effortlessly, quickly and professionally painted the entire interior of our 1200 sf home in three days with time to spare. I highly recommend Dustin & Co.

Despite the crazy amount of rain we received in May, Ace of Diamonds worked with us to get our exterior house painted. Sean was great to work with and the paint crew worked hard and did high quality work. They were able to finish the job the day before I had a baby. All in all, a very positive experience, I highly recommend.

It was a pleasure to work with Dustin and his crew. They were all very professional, showed up on time, always cleaned up and did an excellent job. They even finished the job earlier than expected. I would recommend these guys without any hesitation.

The house is 20 years old with the original paint, so wanted it completely refreshed. Also wanted a quality job since, at age 71, I don't expect to have it done again. I only considered local contractors who had excellent reviews, both on Angie's List and other rating services. Got detailed suggestions, ideas and estimates from three of them before selecting Ace of Diamonds. Wasn't a totally easy decision, since the other two had more experience, excellent reputations and more polished presentations of their services.Ace of Diamonds turned out to be the lowest bidder for the job by well over $1000. I normally don't gravitate toward the lowest bid, but did so in this case for the following reasons. Dustin, the owner, seemed very sincere and flexible in terms of accomplishing what I wanted. He bid the entire job with Sherwin Williams Duration paint which is a higher grade paint and significantly more expensive than what other contractors were proposing to use. He uses two coats. Other contractors were saying and quot;one or two coatsand quot;. And the others bid using cheaper paint. Included in the job was the conversion of several areas of stained and varnished oak to a painted finish, including a large and complex set of stair railings. They did a beautiful job with this, including a two color paint scheme and lots of detailed work on the multitude of small spindles in the railing system. Dustin was very cooperative with scheduling the job during a week I had open. He estimated 5 days with a 2 to 3 person crew. I kept an extra day open the following week just in case it was needed, but the entire job was finished in 4.5 days. The crew arrived punctually at 8 AM each day.Overall, I was very pleased with the crew. Their attention to detail and preparation in terms of placement of drop cloths, etc. seemed to vary some from day to day, and they seemed to be focused more on speed than on communicating and asking questions. Since I was here, I could be aware of what they were doing and do some minor redirection along the way. They were always very cooperative and the end result was exactly the way I wanted it. I asked them do to a painted accent area on one wall, and the layout of the design and the execution of the painting was done exceptionally well with very clean and crisp edges in spite of the textured wall finish.Their payment terms were very good. They accept charge cards, give a discount for Angie's List members, and only required a 25% initial deposit.Overall, I was very satisfied with their work. I'm confident that it will remain attractive for several years and that I got a high quality job at a reasonable price.

Both jobs were well done and in a timely manner. Dustin was very professional and easy to work with. Reasonably priced.

First I cannot say how pleased I am with the work Dustin and his crew did. and quot;Exceeded my expectations' sounds like a cliche but they really did. Dustin provided a quote within a couple of days of examining the house. He and his crew showed up on the day they said they would. The prep work they did on the house was amazing. They power washed twice, once with a bleaching agent and once with water. After the house was dry, they went over every square inch with wire brushes, removing all the old stain residue. Before they even started to stain the house, it looked great. They masked everything - drain pipes, gutters, windows, doors, exterior light fixtures, the hot tub. They even masked the button on the hot tub that turns the jets on, and the electrical outlets on the outside of the house. They stained the whole place, spraying stain and working it into the wood with brushes in order to get good protection and even coverage. They used rollers and a smaller sprayer to do all the decks and even made the cedar lattice come out perfectly. The crew leader, Jesus, checked with me or my wife every single day, sometimes more than once, to make sure we were happy with everything they were doing. They showed up in the morning and worked non-stop - except for lunch - the whole day. Every member of the crew was very professional and they didn't skimp on anything. When the whole house was completed, Dustin came back himself to paint the light pole at the front of my driveway. I cannot praise Ace of Diamonds enough. We didn't have single problem. Anything we noticed that we wanted done, they did, We even changed our minds about the color of the lattice on the upper part of the deck when we saw it. Jesus had no problem at all with that. In fact, I think he purposely did just a small section of it so we could check it out. When we wanted it to be the same as the floor of the deck, he just smiled and did it. I recommend Ace of Diamonds to anybody. They are neither the cheapest nor the most expensive bid we got but they provided more prep and follow-up services than anybody else and listed them in detail as part of the bid. The house looks great. I am very happy with Ace of Diamonds. They are the best.

We learned of Ace of Diamonds Painting through Angie's List and contacted Dustin Hunter, the owner, for an estimate on the prep and painting of our house in Longmont. Dustin responded quickly and gave us a competitive bid that throughly outlined the services to be performed and the materials to be used. Since our house was built over a hundred years ago the job required significant scraping and prep work. We know that painting a house is the easy part - the power washing, scraping, caulking, sanding and priming make the difference between a job that looks ok when first done but does not hold up to sun, weather and time.They spent two full days on the prep work and were able to paint the house on day three. All of the workers were professional and friendly and seemed committed to delivering excellent service. The work was performed timely and when the job was complete Hunter came by on a Sunday for a final inspection and personally completed all of the touch up work. From start of finish it was a top notch job and I highly recommend Ace of Diamonds and Dustin Hunter.

We were affected by the flood so our basement was totally dismantled. When it came time to staining new trim and complete interior paint, I got 3-4 quotes from local painters here on Angie's. Dustin from Ace of Diamonds responded very quickly came out to the house and quoted the job. We selected Dustin and team to do the job. Dustin and his team are very professional, they come in and get the job done. The quality of work is Excellent. Due to my work schedule, when we couldn't talk face to face, Dustin contacted me via cell, text or email. We are very very happy with the stain and paint job that the team completed. We plan to ask Dustin to quote our exterior paint job. We will definitely use Ace of Diamonds Painting again in the future and will recommend this company to our friends and family.

Ace of Diamonds recently painted my 2-story home. Overall, the finished product looks very nice and is better than the original paint job. We paid extra for full house priming. They did a thick layer of prime and of paint, so it looks like the paint job will last a long time. Dustin, the owner, came out a few times before we hired them - once for an initial quote, then a second time to give suggestions on how to fix a porch post. Shortly before the job was done, our area had a lot of flooding, so I think they were kind of backed up when our job started. This affected the smoothness of the job. I was much more involved than I had hoped (making things were painted correctly, steps were done in the correct order, etc). I believe this was more due to how thin they were stretched at the time than to how the company is normally run. Communication with the team on site was mediocre, at best, and the overall job took longer than it should have due to that. Because of the headache of dealing with these bumps, I would normally not give a very good review. However, Dustin clearly cares about his customers and wants to make sure they are happy with the finished job. He came out numerous times himself to fix some of the errors and the final job looks very nice. I would use this company in the future, but I would make sure that they were using their "A" team from the beginning.

Perfect. Dustin was friendly, prompt and detail oriented. He always took time to review his team's work at the end of the day and fix any issues. He also made sure everything was cleaned up afterwards. I highlu recommend his company to anybody.

Dustin was extremely professional. The crew that painted our house was extremely professional and talented. They were always on time and worked quickly and accurately. Even when the weather became a problem, Dustin communicated when the job would continue and was always wonderful. The job was completed BETTER than we could have ever imagined. Dustin came by our home and walked through the property with me. We will be having the company do our interior painting in the spring.

Dustin came to our house to discuss the job. We had some ideas about the color scheme we wanted. He listened carefully and then made some excellent suggestions, including a secondary trim color, which we had not considered. We did a lot of communication by email and phone, which was very convenient for us. He also worked around our schedules when we needed to meet at the house. Dustin and his team were prompt, professional, and enjoyed their work as they did a perfect job. It took them about 2.5 days. We trusted his excellent color sense, and our house looks better than it ever has.

They're a startup company and they were good. They were also quick.

Dustin and his team have always done a top notch job for us at a very reasonable cost. Dustin came out and took a look at the house to give us a quote. We told him we found some Kwal colors that we liked, and he said that it was no problem, that Sherwin Williams can directly match any of Kwal's colors. This turned out to be a perfect match and Sherwin Williams is a much higher quality paint. We had him pencil us in, pending HOA approval. HOA approval was a long, drawn out process that we had to eventually get an appeal for that delayed our actual paint date. Dustin was very flexible and understood. As soon as we got HOA approval after the appeal, Dustin got us on the books for the following week. His crew came out a Thursday and cleaned via powerwashing all the exterior. The on Friday at 7am the crew was taping, caulking and began painting. It was so fast! They worked all day Saturday, took Sunday off, and were back at it on Monday. The replaced a rotted railing with some new treated 2x4 we bought, they repainted the ceiling of our porch after the accent color looked too dark and we decided to do the trim color instead, and even primed and painted our old front porch rockers to match the trim. The crew was clean, quick and did a beautiful job. Our neighbors have come by to complement the job and ask for his card. We were very happy with the work performed, the timeliness and cleanliness of the crew.

No one showed up for the estimate. When they missed our appointment I called and left a voice mail asking if they had trouble finding us or if they needed to reschedule. I never heard back.

We called Dustin at Ace of Diamonds for a bid/estimate for our home to be painted. Dustin responded quickly and arrived within 3 days to look at our home. He provided a detailed estimate and and estimate we were happy with. We would have used Aces and Dustin, but a family member decided to move to Colorado and use "labor" to pay his way !!! There is part of us that wishes we had (2) homes so Dustin could paint the 2nd home--That is how happy we were with his approach, demeanor and professionalism. John

Ace of Diamonds Painting provided the healthy kind of paint which was nice, that was something I haven't thought of. I like the kind of paint he used. He was very punctual and they cleaned up after themselves. There were a few problems after they left and the owner and his guys came right back out and he came with them. He looked it over and fixed everything.

From Estimate to completion, Ace of Diamonds was prompt, attentive and great to work with! Plus, they provided a prompt and competitive bid. They are professional and care about their work, use them!

Ace of Diamonds quickly responded to my inquiry for and estimate to paint the interior of our home. We had all white walls and dark wood trim that had to go! After getting 3-4 estimates from other companies we decided on Ace of Diamonds because they fit in our budget (they were the cheapest!). The owner came and collected the paint colors I had picked out and showed up with his crew the first day to go over everything that was to be painted. It took about three days for the team on 3 guys to complete the job. When they were finished we went over the work with the owner and pointed out they areas that needed to be touched-up, which they did on the spot. There were some places that needed an extra coat of paint, some trim areas that still looked dark from the wood underneath (it was painted white), and some places the tape ripped the paint away. The owner was more than happy to remedy any flaws we found, even coming back the next morning after we found more spots to touch-up. I think with a crew of workers some things get overlooked (you don't get a one man painter who goes over everything himself with exact perfection) but again, the owner was eager to correct errors. Overall we are very happy and will hire them again when we need the exterior of our house painted.

I contacted Ace of Diamonds Painting, Pete's Custom Painting, and a few other highly rated painters listed on Angie's List for a request for quotes. Dustin from Ace of Diamonds Painting and Pete from Pete's Custom Painting responded to my query (another painter said he only worked the Colorado Springs area, the other painters failed to respond), came to my house, and provided me estimates. I ended up choosing Ace of Diamonds and had them work on my front & back decks that received some hail damage on 6 June 2012 and paint my garage's interior (I had already primed it). On 11 October 2012, two of Dustin's painters arrived at 11 am and worked until 2:30 pm on my front deck. On 12 October 2012, an additional painter (crew chief) joined the two and they worked (stained the front deck's railing, painted the garage, and scraped/sanded the majority of the back porch) from approximately 8:15 am to 5:30 pm. On 13 October 2012, the three painters returned and worked (sanded/stained the back deck's railing, cleaned up) from approximately 8 am to 10 am. Unfortunately, about two hours after they left, it rained for four hours causing some of the back railing's surface to be rough. Fortunately, Dustin called me back to see if I was okay with the work. When I told him about the rain and a couple of minor issues (e.g., residual paint on the garage door's hinges), he said he'd take care of it on Monday (and he did, personally sanding/staining the non-smooth surfaces). Bottomline: involved owner, trustworthy employees, quality product for a fair price.
