Ace of Diamonds Painting

Dustin is very professional and his painting crew did an excellent job. They actually showed up a couple of days early to start the prep work. The job was finished on time as projected. Dustin inspected the work himself and had his crew correct some minor issues. I have already recommended Ace of Diamonds to a co-worker who intends to use them to paint his home.

It went well, I really liked working with Dustin. He was helpful and eager to meet our needs. The finished product looks great and we were happy we found Ace of Diamonds. I would use them again.

Ace of Diamonds Painting painted the exterior of my house at the end of May. Before the job started, Dustin answered all my questions and his estimate was reasonable. They started on time despite a mid-May snow in the Denver/Boulder area, and they finished on time. They had a nice crew of guys who did the painting, they were fast, clean, and there were no problems with the job. I would highly recommend them and would use them again.

We had the trim, banisters and doors painted upstairs - 5 rooms. The banister railings were gray and the spindles were white and extended up the 16 steps and across the open foyer. Fernando and Ricardo were fantastic. Dustin, the owner, came every day to insure satisfaction and walked through for final touch-ups when the job was done. They finished prior to the estimated time-frame, even though I added work with trim in a downstairs study and a small banister. The surprise was the Fernando and Ricardo vacuumed the rooms and swept the floors when finished. AMAZING work. Professional, friendly and trustworthy. We had no problems leaving the house while they were working! Highly recommend!!

Fabulous! Prompt and I feel they went the extra mile which rarely happens these days. Lionel and George were fast, courteous, friendly and detail oriented while creating quality work! We are older, and they even came back and hung some pictures that are very high by the vaulted ceiling that would have been a bit difficult for us to rehang. They cleaned up and moved all the furniture back into place. Oh...and they did all this prep, painting , cleanup and moving the furniture in about 1 and 1/2 days. They were just amazing! Fantastic job! They were prompt and efficient. They completely masked and tapped any vulnerable areas, filled old flaws in walls and ceilings, and painted each bedroom with 2 colored walls and white ceilings with crisp corner transitions. Their painter even replaced a bad ceiling light fixture I had purchased a replacement for.

I can't tolerate being home when contractors are doing work in my house. I informed the company rep, at the beginning, that the jobs needed to be done while I was away. He agreed to do them. The basic painting seems to have been done well (problems tend to appear over time). The jobs were initially done in the agreed time frame. After the first job, when I showed the rep the problems (paint smeared in sinks and on cabinet, splattered on floors; tape left around a light fixture; missing switch plate), he said that he had not had time to inspect the job when it was finished. He was eager to correct the problems. He said that, because it did not meet his standards, he would "throw in an exterior power wash." There were even more problems with the second job. In addition to paint smears/splatters, several doors were painted in a way that prevented them from closing; hinges were only partially painted; a light switch was painted frozen; wall paint around a cabinet was ripped up; the wrong color was applied in several areas; several areas included in the work order were not painted (window sills, door frames); the cabinet door repair failed after several weeks. What bothers me most. The rep told me that I was responsible for the problems because I was absent when the work was being done. Translation (I think): Despite the fact that I participated in a lengthy, on-site review of the work to be done, I needed to be present to supervise the work. The rep argued with me about which areas had been included in the second job order; he later acknowledged that he had felt confused after our lengthy on-site interview about the work to be done. About the doors and hinges, he said, "Well, the house is old." (That should have been obvious when he contracted to do the job. He did not indicate that there would be problems because of the age of the house.) He said, "There's always a punch list"; translation: The job is never done right the first time. The switch plate was never replaced. They never did the power wash.

We went from five estimates down to two and they were one of the two. The estimate was reasonable, they were professional, but we did not choose them. Very positive experience.

They did painting at our house, they actually fixed plugs in the wall. We had the home insulated but my husband didn't pay them to finish off the holes properly and paint. He thought he would get around to it himself but he didn't. I found a certificate discount coupon on Angie's List and had them come paint and fix the plugs. It was kind of dry wall work, it was plastering work to even out the patches where the plugs were put in and they did interior painting. They did not clean up very well after themselves. The painting job was excellent. They repaired the plugs and they touched up those areas and repainted the wall. I couldn't even tell there use to be plugs in the wall. It was like a seamless job. It felt like a fresh paint job when I walked in, all the rooms seemed refreshed. They replaced some shelving and had to put back up using the correct support system and one of the shelves had some paint smeared on it, but we were able to get that off. With the discount their pricing was excellent. I think my husband had difficulty connecting with them then had to reschedule because they were not available. When they showed up, they showed up on time.

They did the work requested and did a good job.

It was fantastic. Hugo did the painting he was perhaps the best painter I have ever had. He was just super he did a great job.

They were able to squeeze us in before the cold weather hit and seemed to do a good job with the prep work required. They were happy to use the higher quality paint we requested and since they had painted the exterior for the previous owner several years ago, gave us a discount for the repeat business.

I was very pleased. They were great about explaining the process when they gave me the quote, did an excellent job, kept in good contact during the project. My neighbors have raved about how nice it looks.

Can't say enough about the Ace of Diamonds crew that handled my project. Field manager Dylan Hunter was on-site at least twice each day to check on progress and see if I had any questions or concerns. Lionel and his paint crew were meticulous in their surface prep and paint application and the results certainly show it. There's a reason Ace has so many "A" ratings and I'm happy to add mine to their collection.

Highest price of three bids but we were confident that they would meet our high standards for the job-- and they did.

Was the highest of our three bids but felt very confident that they would meet our high expectations including coordinating with the contractors for our new roof and gutters. Impressed with extras including wood repair and special window trim. Everything went smoothly and we are very pleased with the result.

Dustin and his crew were professional from beginning to end. Dustin arrived on time for each meeting, was focused on business and clearly has a passion for his work. His workers were great. A lot of attention to detail. Job was done as expected and on time. No hitches at all!

Beautiful paint job! Sean provided excellent communication the entire project! The painters were professional and friendly and extremely great at their job! The paint job was so good that we could not even find any areas to touch up!

Got a quote the same day but work had to be postponed due to prolonged wet conditions. Original builder agreed to look at problems and implement repairs; the caulking is pending so not moving forward on that until weather clears and builder has made final decision as to what they will cover.
