It went extremely well! Everyone was responsive and provided really top-notch service!

Very smoothly, They provided 3-D models for review and approval. Because of the backlog, they offered to provide temporary units, but we did not need them. Job was professionally performed in less than a day.

Great - looked better in real life than the pictures - install was fast and the workmen gave a call when they were on their way, they were on time, were neat, and left not a speck of a mess!

The bookcase turned out beautifully, and I admire the fit and finish. Installation was as scheduled and reasonably fast. The designer, Cressa Gamache, did careful measurements, explained the options to me, sent several drawing of the proposed bookcase, and even did some experiments on lighting (the bookcase has a row of little LED lights at the top to illuminate the book spines so I can tell what the titles are even at night). There were a couple of small flaws in the initial installation, which they came back and fixed in a few days with no prodding from me. Overall I am very satisfied with this job.

The company representative was wonderful to work with. She had many good suggestions. The planning took just a couple of hours and within a few days the installation was completed. It only took the installers half a day. Very professional.

I provided paint, but evidently, and unbeknownst to me, it was not the correct paint. The installer called and I asked him to contact the building manager to find out what he correct paint was. I never heard back from the installer. When I arrived at the condo, I was shocked to see that the closet was installed over the damaged walls which were, of course not painted. Since the closet is installed, it is difficult and expensive to correct the flawed walls. I do understand that the correct paint should have been available and that California Closets indeed did provide instructions in this regard…. but I simply was not aware that the paint I provided was not the correct one. I would have expected the installed to get back in touch with me and advise me of the paint problem. I could then have sent a care-taker to obtain the correct paint, or simply rescheduled the installation, whichever the installer preferred. Now I have a mess of a closet, that I need to empty again one of these days and then find a painter to come and painstakingly correct the wall damage and the paint. While California Closet did forewarn about the paint, a customer centric company would have provided the customer the opportunity to either correct the problem in short order or allow the customer to reschedule. Evidently, California Closet does not care about its customers.

They did a very good job. They were professional and they gave us a lot of options for designing the closets especially for our master bedroom. The closets are very user friendly and we like them a lot. I would definitely recommend them. They are not the cheapest but the quality is excellent.

They are a good company to work with. We did not go with them for the service because they did not carry the type of wood we wanted for the unit. They were very accommodating and came out to the house. They were just unable to match the kind of wood we wanted or the color. The person who came to the house was able to design exactly what we had in mind.

It worked out okay. But, there were definitely some problems and things that they didn't know how to fix. My husband had to call the manufacturer of some equipments to solve the problems that they were not able to handle the motorized part of the installation. It was fine, but they didn't know how to repair the mechanized part of the closet where the racks dropped down and they could have done a better job helping me plan what would be useful for me (I use a wheelchair so the heights are really critical). But overall it was fine. My communications with the sales representatives were very good, but now that I'm using it, I feel like there should have been more discussions on the planning. They are the experts and I feel like it would have been helpful if they'd given me more details on the advantages of doing it several ways. So I feel like it was kind of rushed through.

Price wise, I think they were a little bit out of line, a little high. I probably wouldn't use them again because I know how much they charge in things so I probably would go with someone else, that was the big thing.

The first thing we did was to meet with the designer. She did a very nice design. The cost was high - $13000- but it was custom work and we liked the design and quality, and they have an excellent reputation. The installers came two weeks later and took two days for the two closets. We had to call them back because they hadn't left room for the electrical outlets. They came back after a week to do that. We were very happy with the results. We would use them again.

I remember it was pretty pricey and since we've found other more affordable options, we probably wouldn't use them again. It's just for the price but we did like the quality.

I've never used California Closets of Denver but they've been very nice calling me and I called them one time to come in, they were really nice, never did use them though. I just got an estimate from them and they were really nice. The estimate was for my master closet. The interaction over the phone and talking to them was really nice, very pleasant. In every aspect California Closets of Denver were really good.

I had a great experience. The person who came over was very friendly and helpful. She came up with a pretty good design but her price was about three times the price of an independent contractor not associated with California Closets. Her design was great but if I go out and buy the actual goods I can have an independent contractor put it in much cheaper. When trying to get information I had to jump through a few hoops before I could talk to someone who was helpful. They were pretty punctual.

We didn't use them. They're very thorough, they have a huge selection of items but I found a lower costing company that worked out better. But if I was considering them for a more open room, then I would definitely consider them. But I didn't need that furniture grade service for just closets. It's really nice quality stuff but it was not what I had budgeted for a closet.

The bid was too high and we did not end up using them.
