doors, fireplaces, interior painters, replacement windows
 + 2 moreWe were in the midst of a restoration and partial remodel on our 1916 historically designated bungalow when Joe was recommended. Other painters were unreliable or did not have recommendations that suited my needs as a working mother. Remodeling has its share of nightmare experiences especially with material delivery and workman reliability. Joe was the only workman who met his deadlines; always, always showed up when he said he would; and communicated well with both my husband and me. His work product was beautiful and he led us through options and unexpected difficulties with aplomb. He does pay attention to detail and works diligently to get it right.
Description of Work: Joe came to me through a recommendation from the custom cabinetry woodworkers I used for my kitchen cabinets. Originally, Joe was just to interior paint in vivid colors our 1916 bungalow. He turned out to be more than just a painter for us. He also restored, masterfully, all of our original woodwork matching stains among 3 species. Did I mention that the woodwork had 5-6 coats of paint and that it includes 6 interior doors with trimmed frames, 15 original windows, fireplace with built in shelves, arts and crafts ceiling detail and balustrade built-ins? It is all beautiful restored now. Joe is punctual, provides excellent craftsmanship cutting paint to the woodwork and staining in a historic house, and exceeded my expectation for workman cleanliness and courtesy. He was highly ethical and his work a great value. I will be recommending him to my friends and family. And certainly will not hesitate to use him again.
