They were great. I called them up and let them know what I needed and I needed it done quickly because we were moving. They made time for us over their lunch break the very same day. They were very nice, professional and got the work done quickly. I would definitely recommend!

Excellent response to my initial message through Angie's list. Quickly came out for the quote which was mid range in quotes we received from several vendors. Scheduled day of work, they came out earlier than anticipated after calling to see if it was ok to do so. Install went perfectly and both electricians were top notch and friendly. Will use them again for any future needs.

Brian quickly and accurately gave us a reasonable estimate. His crew completed the work efficienctly even though we did make several changes to the job because the estimate was so reasonable. The house is 100 years old and can challenge any contractor. Brian's crew did a great job walking and talking us through the work. Brian reacted professionally and quickly to my unjustified overreaction to a small problem which was fixed in a very timely manner. I would definitely call Sundog Electric for any electrical work in the future.

The outcome of this project was exactly what we hoped for and expected. The initial visit to work out the bid was on-time and was a productive give-&-take of ideas and goals. When the bid was accepted and the schedule fixed, they were right on time & ready to go. A little discrepancy came up between the initial intent and what they were prepared to do, but it was quickly cleared up and professionally resolved prior to any in-progress work. Overall, we could not be happier with the work Sundog Electric did in our home. We expect to call them again for more work.

We had a small electrical project--install heat lamp in the bathroom. After getting an outrageous estimate from an electrical contractor who came to the house, we called Brian at Sundog. He gave us an over-the-phone estimate with a reasonable, not-to-exceed cost, so we scheduled the work. The appointment was a month out, but we were in no hurry. Austin and Jeremy called ahead, showed up as scheduled, knew what had to be done and completed the job--fast, neat, clean--for less than we expected We would definitely hire this company again.

I called for an appointment for an estimate, and Brian told me he couldn't get out for two weeks because of recent inquiries from Angie's List. Regardless of the delay, I scheduled the appointment. Brian arrived for the appointment accompanied by a second gentleman and provided the estimate which seemed extremely reasonable. I wanted to schedule the work with him, and he replied that he could do it then. It took just about an hour with the two of them working, and they did a great job. Brian made suggestions and answered my questions before he started and as he was working. I'm glad I waited the two weeks; it was worth it. I understand why he's as busy as he is, and I would highly recommend Sundog Electric.

Removed?an electrical outlet and a dimmer switch, and?moved an outlet and light?switches from a wall that had been removed.

Never heard from him again. This was my first experience with Angie's List. I specifically used Angie's List because the providers are supposed to be so good and reliable. Not a good start.

Everything went perfect. In fact I made the wrong choice of hiring another company for this job and fired them after 2 days due to their incompetence. But not SunDog! These guys literally rocked, were extremely professional, great to work with and it is rare to find a contractor that excels on all levels like this! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SUNDOG!! Can't go wrong based on my experience!

I had a large laundry list of items I wanted tackled at my house from adding new plugs to helping me figure out wiring, install under-cabinet lighting, wiring for a new chandler. ?The list I had for them?was over 40 items in total they helped with.

When the date came around they never came. I called to confirm the appointment the day before and never heard back and then they didn’t show up on the day of the appointment. I used a different company at that point.

My only concern was the scheduling and delayed arrival. I had to wait 4 weeks for the service. If you are in a hurry, be sure to call first before buying. On the day of the service they called 3 hours before the scheduled arrival to notify me they would be one hour late. I appreciated the call but it caused me to have to rearrange my afternoon to accommodate them. The Service was great. All the work was performed in less than one hour. They cleaned up and left everything in good order. I would recommend them for similar work.

They did an excellent job and I would recommend them to anybody.

This company arrived on time and the electricians were very knowledgeable and efficient. The price was very competitive. Very pleased with this supplier and will use them again for future work coming up.

Brian was extremely responsive and called me back as I had questions about the deal...one of my 3 installs was actually moving an existing ceiling fan from one room to another, and two of the installs were a new install. He followed up several days before our appointment and actually arrived an hour early. He and his technician were very efficient, cleaned up after themselves, and even gave us advice as to what brands to consider for a future project (replacing our great room ceiling fan). Will definitely be hiring them again for any future electrical work...reasonable pricing and top notch work.

An electrician and an intern arrived promptly on the day and time scheduled. They were knowledgeable, polite and informative.They accurately performed the work agreed upon in the contract and cleaned up after themselves extremely well.

Excellent experience with the two Sundog electricians. Arrived early, with notification, and effectively replaced the old exterior light fixtures. Identified that one of the light fixtures arrived with a cracked and repaired glass panel, likely from a return. Assessed that the glass was strong and functional and recommended installing it so it was not visible. Though not a guaranteed service, removed old appliance light bulbs from the microwave which were crusted with grease and broken in the socket, bringing the lighting feature back into service. Effectively replaced a ceiling fan, and looked at another fan where the light was not working. Discovered that it had multiple settings to varied lighting and explained how it worked....something we did not know and which could easily have resulted in replacing it. Also discussed additional work and provided recommendations on renovating kitchen lighting. Quickly installed all of the new fixtures for a very reasonable rate. Will definitely use again. I called Sundog Electric on a Thursday and they were at my house the following day at 8am, as stated on the phone. I have never experienced as quick of service as this before, they get an A+ just for the timely service. Two gentlemen showed up and were very polite, I showed them what wall in my master bedroom I wanted the work done. They installed a new electrical outlet along with a coax outlet for cable T.V. I was having this installed for a soon to be wall mounted T.V. in the bedroom. They were able to get the work done in one hour and cost $120. Once the bill was written up, the electrician stated "I can make a 2 foot coax cable for you, which is the ideal length for a wall mounted T.V." I said great, any additional cost? He said, no it's on the house. Wow, that just blew my mind, what service. Next, I asked I had a missing cover plate for an electrical box right below the one just installed, again mind you the bill was already written up. They said, oh we have plenty and installed the part for free. Wow, my mind was blown a 2nd time, what amazing service. After they left, I noticed they forgot the coax cable. I called Sundog electric, the gentleman on the phone said he would call them right away. By this time, they were across far away from my home as an hour passed already. I guy arrived at my door with the coax cable in hand and apologized. I said not to worry, he then talked to me about ideas on a wall mount arm and the best ones to get. It seems these guys and the teams at Sundog electric have all the time in the world to work with the customer and make them happy, this is why I will be going to them for any future work. Oh one last thing, they were able to give me a rough estimate on the spot for canned lighting. I would highly recommend Sundog Electric for any of your electrical needs. One happy customer!
