 + 0 moreBrian Sears, the owner, is efficient, knowledgeable, and a hard worker. He is also very neat. On one project he had to cut into walls and left very little repair to be done. He suggested ways to light my glass-fronted cabinets that were both beautiful and practical. He is reliable, prompt, courteous, and helpful. I recommend him highly.
Description of Work: Installed cabinet and under-cabinet lights in kitchen, ceiling light in kitchen and dining nook,push-button starter for garbage disposal, many electrical outlets in various rooms. Relocated phone jacks. Referred me to good vendors & helped me problem-solve on construction.

 + 0 moreExtremely satisfied with price charged and the quality of the work. Brian was very punctual and professional. He thoroughly cleaned up the job site upon completion. I would definitely use Brian again for any electrical work.
Description of Work: Hung three ceiling fans. This included cutting holes in the ceilings and running power to the sites. Also installed GFI outlet on exterior of house.

 + -1 moreA+ Couldn't ask for more. Great communication. Brian called and showed up when he said he would. Surprisingly good rates, especially considering the high level of service. He was very pleasant to work with. He was even good with my two young kids, who were constantly underfoot. He'll be our first call the next time we need anything electrical.
Description of Work: A storm knocked out power to several outlets in our home. Brian quickly identified the cause (an oddly located GFI that tripped during the storm), solved the problem and told us what to do if it happened again. He was so great to work with I had him quote prices to install some overhead lights and ceiling fans at a later date.

He was recommended to me by a friend who is a general contractor, which carries a lot of weight with me. I will certainly use him again when I have additional work.

Mr. Sears made suggestions that helped our heating system contractor to lower our cost and increased the efficiency of our heating system. I highly recommend Mr. Sears without reservation! Be sure and ask him for his opinion - he took a ho-hum design and made it superior to other company's offerings.

Our house has many quirks (the original homeowners did much of the work themselves) yet Brian was able to identify the areas of potential trouble and fix them in under three hours--at what we considered to be a very reasonable cost. Brian is a Master Electrician who is extremely knowledgeable. As he discovered each new issue he took the time to patiently explain both the problem and its potential solution. Once we agreed to have Brian do the work, he wasted no time in completing the tasks. We highly recommend Brian Sears as an electrician and would hire him again in an instant.
Description of Work: Our home was built in 1986 and while that is not particularly old, we had several issues with electrical. The original homeowners apparently attempted to do some of the wiring themselves (or had friends do it) and the results caused a myriad of problems. We had the burners on two different stoves blow up and lost a slew of electronic kitchen appliances as well. Some of the wiring was downright illegal and we also had issues such as: no GFIs installed in the kitchen, three different types of breakers installed in the breaker box, and loose neutrals (resulting in power spikes). Brian Sears with Sundog Electric identified all of the problems and managed to fix them in under three hours.

Description of Work: Our new washer and dryer could not be connected because the wall socket was incorrect for a washer/dryer. Brian Sears investigated the situation for us, ordered the parts, picked them up the next day (the initial visit was after hours in the evening) and fixed the wall connection for us.
