Sundog Electric

It was great and fabulous. He is very professional and on time. He does the work in a timely manner. He is very clean. He cleans up everything afterwards. I thought the prices were good for the work that he did. It was an all around excellent experience.

Brian was prompt and very friendly. The overall job was completed in the time frame given and Brian was kind enough to add an outlet for my ejector pump to assist the plumber. It is refreshing to work with a company that is very respectful and helpful and takes the time to answer questions.

They are wonderful. I've used them twice. The first time was about six months ago. The guy was really good. He was practically running through; he was so fast. He charged by the hour and he didn't dawdle. He had an assistant named Beth who was very pleasant and very helpful. I was very impressed. It was about three hours of work. The last time he was here he had to do follow up on grounding a garbage disposal and he was fast and charged about $50.

They showed up on time, explained our options on the different types of boxes that we could use, and installed the new box quickly. We have used Brian many times for all types of services. He is great about explaining the options clearly and giving the homeowner as much detail as you want. We highly recommend Sundog

We checked Angie's List for an electrician and found Sundog Electric. Brian came out on time and on schedule to check out our celiling fans. He quickly found the problems and the solutions to those problems. Brian did not charge a trip charge and we were extremely pleased (and rather surprised) that we paid only $90.00. We were so satisfied with the work Brian performed and with Brian himself that we scheduled another job with him. Brian is very personable, knowledgeable, and treating his customers fairly is important to him. Having an electrician we trust and can count on to do the job right at a fair price is important to us. That's why we will be doing business with Sundog Electric in the future.

Brian responded via phone to my email inquiry describing the situation. He was polite and offered to complete the job for a very reasonable rate and even said he'd just stop by and do it really fast on his way home any day I liked so I didn't have to schedule an appointment. It turns out the underwriters allowed the man who did my inspection to do the switch and revise the report so I didn't wind up needing Brian's services. I will however be calling him when I have any future electrical needs.

Because of bad weather, Brian was running late, which he called to tell me. When he arrived, he quickly installed the timer and cleaned up carefully after he was done.

There was a socket that was making noise, and I knew it shouldn?t do that. I called Sundog Electric and he said he?d be here as quickly as he could. He did that. He felt very bad for charging me for a call because it was a very simple thing for him to fix. He wanted to know if there was any other work that he could do. I was very pleased that he came out so quickly because I was worried. He was very professional and reasonably priced too. He was just terrific.

Excellent stuff. My wife and I are very pleased with Sundog Electric; they've installed security lights on our home exterior, installed new electrical outlets, and even rewired our garage to get it up to code. Will definitely use them again.

We were remodeling our kitchen and also having a very large patio door put into a wall that had no door previously. We needed the wiring removed from the wall beforehand and after the door went in, we needed new outlets on both sides, a light switch and a light for outside the door. We also needed help with the wiring for our new induction cooktop, which requires a lot of amps, and a new oven: both in different locations than previous. Brian and his apprentice first came over to give an estimate. They were professional and provided lots of advice and their estimate seemed appropriate. When they did the work, they were on time, and really fast, but they clearly did a great job. Their final price matched the estimate, as I recall. We definitely got our money's worth. We would use them again in a heartbeat. We WILL use them again.

He did a great job. They were prompt, they were professional, and they did good work at an affordable rate. They are very knowledgeable and I would use them again.

I spoke with Brian in detail about replacement of many light fixtures. He was patient and asked detailed questions over the phone. When he came to the house, he gave honest answers about what was practical from a cost, usability, and aesthetic perspective. We chose to move forward with the kitchen lighting first, and they did an excellent job. Finished well before their estimated time and everything looks great. They also did a great job of cleanup after they completed the work. I was so happy that I called Brian on another fairly simple matter and he talked me through the steps for me to do it myself rather than charging me to do something so simple.

Fantastic! Brian and Beth arrived promptly and did an excellent job on our projects. They were friendly and careful with our artwork and other items that could have been in the way. Most importantly, they were great with our dogs. They were always aware of the doors so my pups would not escape and that is always appreciated.

First the boiler in the building went out in our 1930s building. To compensate for lack of heat, we employed space heaters. As you may imagine, this overloaded the ancient wiring and tripped a breaker. This dislodged a wire in the switch box and we lost all power to the south wall in our living room. Sundog Electric quickly diagnosed and repaired the problem and laughed at our jokes about being new homeowners with a broken boiler, electrical repairs and a flooded basement just that same morning from a clogged clothes washer drain. We had a great experience and were very satisfied with their quick response, efficient repair and congenial and professional attitudes. Highly recommend them and would certainly call again.

Excellent service overall: Prompt on-site estimate. Several options discussed, solving a problem declared unsolvable by another electrician. A reliable estimate was provided. After the initial visit, Brian consulted with the city inspector to discuss a somewhat unusual part of the project and made necessary planning adjustments to make sure there are no concerns about code violations. On-time installation. No mess left behind. Detailed invoice. The work successfully passed city inspection.

Sundog Electric was fantastic! They came ahead of time and gave us an estimate that was followed to the penny. We had not done a lot of the things on our list because other estimates were so high, but Sundog's estimate was very reasonable and so we decided to have them do nearly everything they estimated. They arrived exactly when they said they would and they worked quickly and efficiently. Brian discussed our options and made sure they were clear on what we wanted. In one case, I wanted a motion sensing closet socket so there would be light when the door was opened and Brian found a better option that we could take with us if we ever move. They even bagged their trash when they left. Sundog will be doing all of our electrical work! I highly recommend them!

I called for an estimate to have some interior wall outlets and a new 20 amp circuit installed in my home. Brian returned my call promptly. We scheduled the job and Brian (the owner) arrived on time to start the work. He is very conscientious about doing a good job and worked hard making sure I was happy with his work. He was careful to cover the floor where he was working and he cleaned the work area when finished. Before leaving, he double checked each outlet to make sure it worked properly. I was completely satisfied with Brian's work. Brian has a great work ethic and it shows in the quality of his work. He truly makes the extra effort to ensure 100% customer satisfaction. Thank you!! I would not hesitate using Sundog Electric again and I strongly recommend calling Sundog when you need electrical work.

Brian made an appointment with me for a few days after I called. He arrived promptly with his apprentice and checked both switches. He thought it was one of the switches, but it wasn't testing that way, at first. Fortunately, it did turn out to be a switch, and not the one I thought was bad! He replaced it, and it worked.They were in and out in 15 minutes.

My experience with Sundog was outstanding! Brian called me within a few hours after I initially called. When I described my project, he said it would be no problem. We set up a time and day for Brian to come to our house and provide an estimate. He arrived punctually and quickly assessed what he needed to do. He provided me with an estimate within a few days and we set up a day/time for the services to be performed. On the day services were performed, he was again on time and did the work as promised within 2-3 hours, just as he estimated. The work was just as advertised and they were great in cleaning up. I have not had a lot of previous experience in working with electricians, but based on my experience, I intend to contact Sundog the next time I have an electrical or in home wiring project. We're very pleased! I would recommend Sundog as the quality of work was great!

Once he gave me an estimate, he informed that he was booked for a month and I had to wait until then. He was professional, responsive and punctual. His pricing was reasonable as well. The quality of his work was good and I was satisfied with his service.

Perfectly! They showed up on time, and in the process of replacing my smoke detectors they found a problem with one (the wiring had not been completely connected by the previous owners). I'm a happy repeat customer!

He was very good. He had a fast response time and he did good work. He was helpful and knowledgeable. I give them all A?s for their services.

I don't remember the exact price but I do remember it was very fair for an electrician. He is always punctual and communicates well with you. He is a really nice guy. He will fit you into his schedule as fast as he can. My jobs are usually small jobs and occasionally I have to wait, but then other times he can come right over. He does fantastic work and always cleans up very well after himself. I have used him many times and will use him again in the future.

Brian returned my initial call within the same day, and was able to schedule an appointment to fit my schedule. He gave me a rough estimate of $75-95 to hang the chandelier, and about $200 to run a separate 120 volt line into the kitchen. He and his assistant showed up on time, ready to get to work. Once Brian arrived, he found that I had an unused 220 volt line, and converted it to 120 volts. This lowered the cost of the electrical wiring project from $200 to $65. The total cost was $140, and Brian offered a 10% discount for an Angie's List coupon that hadn't even gone into effect yet. Total cost was only $126, which was tremendously lower than I ever expected before I contacted an Electrician. Brian and his assistant Beth were knowledgeable, quick workers, courteous, and very concious about not tracking dirt or snow into my house. I feel that I've now found the Electrician I'll call if I ever need work done again!
