Brian and Doug were able to show up early as they had finished their earlier job ahead of time. They checked out the circuit, including the attic and basement and discovered a switch to the furnace had shorted out. They very quickly fixed that problem and then inspected the malfunctioning dimmer light switch, which was being affected by the type of bulbs being used. The switch was replaced with a stand on-off one. The job was completed very quickly and the advice that Brian was very helpful. GREAT Company, I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Brian and Doc arrived on time and installed an outdoor outlet in one of my roof soffitts so that I could plug in a roof heat tape. They ran a line through the garage and terminated it at a switch by my garage door. Both technicians are good-natured and work steadily. When I asked Brian about doing some work on some TV cabling, he showed me how to do it myself and recommended the tool necessary to achieve a professional result. It worked! And it saved me perhaps $125 to boot. It takes a while to get an appt., but barring an emergency, I'll use them again

Hired Sundog to wire and install motion detection lighting system on my alley-facing garage. Brian and his assistant showed up on time, were super friendly, and expertly wired and installed my lighting system. They were in and out within the hour. Will definitely use them again in the near future. Highly recommended!

Our electrical box was pulled off the house due to a truck hitting cable lines. Sundog came over late at night to help. They were super friendly and helpful. Due to the hour they couldn't get the parts to fix the problem and they were booked for the rest of the week. They went out of their way and found us another company that could help. They were absolutely wonderful. I would use them again and again. I highly reccommend them.

The work went very well. Brian was very professional, did a bit of problem solving and completed a great install including assembly or the fan and installation of the support bracing. We're very happy with the results. You can anticipate a considerable lead time to get your work scheduled. We waited 3 weeks before he could get to us. I assume that's because he's really good and the business reflects that. Not a problem because we were not in a hurry....and he was there right on time for the scheduled appointment. Will definitely call Sundog for future electrical needs.

I sold a house and the buyer required some electrical repairs. I called Sundog on a Monday morning to request an estimate. Brian and an assistant came to the house over the lunch hour the same day I called and they had time to accomplish the minor repairs right then. They added two outlet boxes, rewired a fluorescent light, added a circuit breaker and wired an outlet that previously had not been connected to a circuit. His price was fair, he work was prompt and complete and faster than you can say Sundog, they were done!

These guys are good- Prompt with high qualtiy work. I will use these folks again.

Never returned my call. Notwithstanding the owner's claim that he never recevied a call, I can provide the call log from my office showing two calls in one week to him.

Called and scheduled an appointment. I had to wait a few weeks because of his busy schedule which was fine with me. Brian and Doc arrived on time, and finished early. The work went very smoothly and the cost was as expected. Clean-up was great. Lighting looks fantastic! I would definitely use his company again as I have in the past, I wouldn't use anyone else.

Very helpful and explained in detail what was going to be done. I was given alternative options to do things cheaper myself which I really appreciated. Did more than what I had initially planned after asking what else they could do. I will definitely use them for all my electrical needs.

Sundog Electrical did a great job. I had to wait about a week after I called for an estimate because Sundog Electrical is a popular electrician and did not have an opening. The work had to be performed in two steps because of inspection requirements. We had a small misscommunication in that I wanted 20 amp service for one of the receptacles. That detail was not called out in the estimate. After the rough electrical installation they came back the next day to changeout the wiring. When they completed the finish electrical installation I realized that I would need another receptacle to pass inspection. Please note that a previous electrician had installed receptacles for me in the basement but they were not correctly spaced to meet code. Sundog Electrical added the needed receptacle that day. I will use Sundog Electrical in the future for all my electrical system modifications.

We lost power to half the house the during the night and I called Sundog to see if they could come out. While they were too booked to come that day, he did walk me through some troubleshooting on the phone no questions asked and free of charge. Talk about customer service!

Owner Brian & helper (Doc) were on-time and quickly moved through the list of proposed work to assess options, logisitics, and possible problems with each task. For the cable move, Brian outlined 2 possibilities: through the walls or pulling up a section of carpet and through the sub-floor. His evaluation and recommendation was that the sub-floor route had far less subsequent drywall repair and, consequently, was our agreed-on choice. He made a cut in an alcove portion of the carpet, completed the task, and replaced the carpet so well that the seam is only visible if one looks for it. Well done, Brian!Brian and Doc divided up the tasks, which is a logical, efficient way to proceed because the tasks are mostly one-person efforts where both workers would be in each other's way. When help was needed, for example while fishing wire, the pair would work together for that part of the task. The pair followed code requirements, which is essential for a homeowner to avoid huge, retro fix-up costs when trying to sell and discovering code violations. Again, well done guys. The garage outlets are worth mentioning. Doc explained about code-required GFCI outlets for floor-level outlets. In wiring a ceiling outlet for additional lighting, he enountered a snag of a structural beam, again requiring specific code requirements for any work-around. He explained this and his proposed work-around so that we would know the final appearance. Brian assembled and installed the ceiling fan onto an 18' ceiling in about 40 minutes, an incredibly brief time that attests to his knowledge and competence. When he tested the fan, he noticed that the remote also started the bedroom ceiling fan, of the same manufacturer. With one, quick final trip up the ladder he changed the dip switches on the fan to rectify that problem. All went smoothly. This team works quickly, efficiently, compliant to code, and fairly priced. We rate them A+.

I found Sundog Electric on Angie's List. We have confidence in Brian. He doesn't over charge. His prices are reasonable for his work. He does good work.

Father and son showed up exactly when they said they would. They expected to test the outlets and label the panels, but I wanted them to fix the outlets as well. They adapted without complaint and were able to fix everything relatively quickly after labeling the panels. The only part that wasn't perfect was the two week delay between first contact and the scheduled appointment. The work wasn't time sensitive, so I didn't mind really. I guess when you're good, you stay busy! I had previously received an estimate from another provider for this work, and had been pushed to do a bunch of extra unnecessary things. Brian did just what was asked, reassured me that the other stuff was really unnecessary, and charged me much less for the work he did. The other provider estimated $520 just for the work Sundog did for $180, plus recommended $250 worth of extras. Needless to say, I'm delighted that I called Sundog!

Awesome. Brian originally came over to fix a bad ceiling fan wiring job I'd done, and he worked so efficiently and was so nice that I asked him to give me a bid on the electrical aspects of a larger re-decoration project I was about to start. He gave me a fair price and explained the work that would need doing so it was really clear to me. Brian worked really efficiently and was true to his estimate. He was on time and he and his assistant are just the nicest guys to work with. He cut me some slack when I got the day of our appointment wrong - he showed up when he was supposed to, I just didn't write the correct date in my calendar - and he very kindly rescheduled for the following week and was able to fill up his day with other work. I would absolutely work with Sundog again - Brian will be the first electrician I ever call. I highly recommend him.

Brian came to my home and he had a younger guy with him. They were very informative. They came on time and on schedule. He gave me explanations of his work and what he was doing. He gave me recommendations for future work and improvements. He answered all of my questions and did a great job. He was very friendly and engaging with anything I asked him. I intend to use him again in the future.

Brian, who is a Master Electrician certified, and his apprentice showed up on time. They assembled the fans and prepared the wall switches for installation of the controls. They installed the fans and the controls and synchronized the controls, remotes and the receivers on the fans. They tested both fans and showed me how to operates both of them. They cleaned up after themselves and even carried the two old fans (which are made of cast iron and very heavy) to my garage. I am very satisfied with their work, general demeanor and their professionalism. I already scheduled another appointment to install two sconce lights and under/over cabinet lighting in my kitchen as their prices are very reasonable and the work done top notch.
