Brian called and had to schedule about 10 days out, but that was fine! I would definitely use again!

Brian and Beth were right on time and both very engaging and informative. We added a transfer switch to our panel in case of power outage. Overall we were very impressed with the quality of work and their professionalism. Brian was the only one of 6 electrical contractors that called me back in a timely manner. Sundog charged exactly what was estimated, sight unseen. Hard to find a company that makes you feel at ease right from the get-go, Sundog Electric is the best game in town as far as I'm concerned.

This was probably the best contractor experience we've ever had. The work looks great, we were happy with the price, and the guys were very friendly and professional. Our dogs didn't even bark at them. Honestly, it was all so easy, I'm thinking it's time to get around to other fixtures we've wanted to replace.

I received a call the day before, and the two young gentlemen(whose names I forgot to write down) arrived promptly for the appointment the next day. They went right to work, and completed the job on time. They were very courteous, cleaned up, and even reattached a bracket on my track light, which had been dislodged when the roof was reshingled a few days before. This is the second time I have used Sundog Electric, and highly recommend Brian and his crew for their prompt service and fair pricing. It is commendable that he is proactive in his trade by hiring and training young people not just the skills of the trade, but also customer service.

Brian and Beth were a pleasure to work with. We had 3 ceiling fans installed and pool table light removed and capped and repair of an electric junction box. Although they were an hour late, they called and advised that the prior job was running longer than expected. The quoted price was for the job and not by the hour and they made suggestions on how to reduce costs during their visit. We will be using Sundog again for our electrical needs.

Brian and team wired my new detached garage after another electrician tried to charge me for $3000 in unneeded work. They were fast, courteous and transparent. They did have to make a return trip due to some recent code changes but that happened immediately. I highly recommend them and would use them again!

Everything went according to plan and the home network and coaxial lines work perfectly. The work is expertly done, with only a small hole (about one foot across in the bathroom ceiling on the first floor that needed to be patched after he left. The hole was needed for pulling wires from basement through to the attic (3rd level). Considering the cable lengths involved it is a very small amount of wall board damage. The only real negative is the low voltage panel (metal box) installed in the basement was smaller than promised, did not accommodate all our equipment, and in fact I ended up having to install our wireless router outside the box because the box interfered with the wireless signal, contrary to Brian's assurances. Overall, we are very pleased with the results, and Brian's workmanship.

The electricians did what it took to replace the old light and it was not as easy as one might expect. There was a bit more to it than taking the old one out and fitting the new one. They also checked out an 1950's kitchen fan to diagnose that the motor had died and was not repairable. They couldn't replace the fan because the venting was not up to modern building code requirements and only an HVAC specialist could construct the venting and replace the fan. The price remained as promised and was very reasonable. I am impressed with Sundog, would use them again and highly recommend them to others.

I want to give Brian and his crew at Sundog Electric my highest recommendation. Brian came out a couple of months ago to discuss the job to be done and gave me a reasonable bid quote at that time. As is commonly suggested I had a couple of other electrical companies come out and bid the job. Brian was the most punctual and personable and his bid was the most reasonable. We scheduled the work for Dec 1 at 8:00 am. You won't believe what happened next. December 1 rolls around and at 8:10 I hear a knock at the door. Right on time and ready to get to work! The job went very efficently and Brian ahnd his crew were totally professional and totally cleaned up the job site when they were finished. I really appreciated that Brian also took the time to talk me through a secondary installation I was going to do myself. All in all I wish all contractors deliverd as well as Brian and Sundog Electric did.

I am so impressed with Brian and his electricians. His team is professional and courteous and did a great job installing the ceiling fan. They even took the time to box up the old ceiling fan and left no mess for me. Brian has taken the time to discuss electrical issues over the phone even when he is extremely busy.

They showed up on time and when it was realized that the job would take longer than initially thought, they brought in two other electricians. They did an awesome job and were all very professional and courteous. I could not have been more happy with their service. They were able to install a dedicated circuit for my electric fireplace and then install and rewire my home for a structured media panel in 5 hours.

Even though they were unable to come out to visit since I'm outside of their service area, Brian still provided me detailed information about all aspects of the services that should be provided. He answered all of my questions in great detail and provided solutions to handle the resolution extremely effectively. He went above and beyond to help and I am very grateful for offering his time and knowledge so generously. I'll definitely call him for any services I need within my area in the future.

Before the scheduled time of arrival the Sundog crew called and said they would be late because they were going to stop at Home Depot to pick up hardware for the job. When they arrived they stared working on replacing four existing plugs in the in the kitchen with GFIs. This included determining how the original wiring was done. It was determined that one of the plugs had been improperly wired. We had fragile designer faceplates over these covers, and unfortunately two of these were broken during plug replacement. While work continued I was able to locate and purchase replacement covers and Sundog reduced my bill by that amount. I installed the covers when they arrived. The two plugs in the basement were switched to GFIs and the wiring fixes in the electrical panel were finished. As the crew was about to leave I noticed that one of the new GFIs was not displaying the small green light that indicates it is working. At first it was thought the new GFI was bad, but a second GFI produced the same result. The issue was of major concern because their investigation found the GFI neutral was carrying live current. Eventually the lead electrician determined that the wiring for the circuit had some configuration at the electrical box that he had overlooked. When that was discovered the plug that had been thought to be mis-wired was rewired to its original configuration. At that time the GFi that had not had an operating light on and had a hot ground commenced to operate properly. For billing the lead electrician made an estimate of how long the rework took and subtracted that amount from the total time to determine actual hours of work. I accepted that estimate as ballpark OK. Another issue was that though we had asked the crew several times to wear protective booties in the house that did not always happen while they were working in the house. They cleaned up when they were done but we found numerous snipped wire ends and other trash on the counters and floors after they left.

It went great. They worked very quickly and were extremely professional.

Sundog is the only electrician for us. Brian runs the whole operation, but has a couple teams that work for him. You can tell he takes pride in the people that work for him, and makes sure they are not only knowledgable, but also are a pleasure to work with.Both electricians in the team we got were incredibly knowledgable, respectful, and a pleasure to work with. They helped us with all the things we had on our list and even helped us install a difficult lamp on a high ceiling we couldn’t get to. They went above and beyond, and were a pleasure to work with. Brian and his partner were very responsive to our needs to install there light immediately. They installed there 17 recessed lights with absolutely no damages to the wall and ceiling- very impressive work.

Brian was very helpful taking my initial call and getting an appointment scheduled. The technicians arrived right on time and completed all of the work within an hour. They also gave me an estimate on some other electrical work I am considering in the future. Very professional, courteous and easy to work with - I will use Sundog Electric again!

Originally I was looking for an electrician that could install track lighting in my 2nd bedroom and came across the Angie's List Deal for Sundog Electric (2 electricians for 1 hour, $80). I was contacted by Brian (presumably the owner of Sundog) via e-mail and was prompted to call to make an appointment. I was able to work around this, but be aware that his work is meant to be done Monday through Friday - there is an overtime charge on weekends. We were able to set a time about a week and a half after my initial call because of a cancellation (normally he is 2-3 weeks out).Brian and his assistant were on time, friendly and gave me good information on what he was going to have to do to get the track light installed. Luckily he was able to wire the track lighting to an existing switch on the wall. He also suggested that I may want to install an electrical outlet in an area that may eventually need power (hard to explain where he was putting the lighting and outlet, I have very high ceilings and there is a nook that needed light and perhaps, an outlet for something else in the future). He and his assistant worked steadily to cut through the drywall to get wires and boxes in place. Halfway through the job I considered his suggestion of installing an outlet and he was happy to go ahead and install the outlet.They were able to get it all done in an hour and I was super pleased with the job they did - the installation looked clean and the lighting looked great! They were able to do exactly what I was hoping for. This is minor (but the clean up may matter to some) but they didn't have a shop-vac to vacuum up dust/debris. I have wood floors and Brian definitely did his best to clean up with a shop towel which I appreciated. The labor was paid for by the Angie's List Deal but there is a charge for parts, which was very reasonable. Overall Brian was a pleasure to work with and I plan on having him back for a couple other electrical jobs in the future :)

Excellent work; punctual; nice people. Doc fixed what another electrician bungled a few years ago - had everything on hand in his truck - knew what he was doing. Brian worked me in on a Saturday! to replace some old light fixtures with new ones. Very happy with work and would use again. Have already recommended them.

First they arrived 15 minutes early! They did a very professional job. They took their time and carefully measured everything before cutting holes and running wire. Other than the holes they had to cut to run the wires it was like they weren't even here. Will definitely use them again in the future.

Quick, courteous and fairly priced.

Bought a house with aluminium wiring that was not wired correctly througout most of the home. That electrical panel was another safety hazard. It was original to the house. Receptacles had visual signs of melting and over heating. Nothing was grounded. We had to moved in a week before the work could began and I did not want to plug anything in. The house was a fire hazard. This was my first time working with Sundog. I used Angies' List to find a contractor that was reputable since it was a big job. It was also a task that you need to trust to a true professional to correct. Sundog exceeded my expectations. Brian and his team were absolutely wonderful,courteous,and they answered all of my questions and explained everything they were doing and going to do. They went through the crawl space and attic to check all the wiring. I now feel very safe living in my new home and will use Sundog to do all my renovation improvements in the future. Sundog is a busy company and is worth the wait.

The electricians showed up right on time. I showed them what needed to be done and they got right to work. One electrician worked on the kitchen fixture to find out what was wrong and the second electrician began working on the ceiling fans. The work went smoothly, but was a bit more complicated than I had figured. One bedroom already had a ceiling fan, but the people who installed it originally did not put in a fan box, so a box needed to be installed for both fans. In all, the work took about 3 hours to complete. I am glad I did not try this myself, but hired professionals to do the work for me. Sundog covered my furniture and vacuumed up any debris after they were done. The electricians were polite and courteous and the final price was even a little less that what we had agreed on when I made my appointment.I would definitely use Sundog again.

They arrived on time, put up the new fan. They were very pleasant. Completed the job in less time than I expected. It is now almost 4 months later, and all is working fine. I know it was a small job but we were very happy with them. Definitely will hire them again for any electrical work we may need in the future.
