The service was amazing. They were prompt, listened to our cost needs, offered suggestions, and did not try to over sell us on anything. Further more, they came in around $1,000 less the we were quoted anywhere else. The new boiler was in and running after they put in a full days work. They were amazing. A cold front was coming in, and they stayed extra late that day just to make sure we had heat. I would recommend this company to anyone.

On the day of my appointment the company called and said they were swamped with calls from people who had no heat and needed emergency service. They asked if I could re-schedule my appointment to a later date. I had taken a half-day off of work for this service call and told them that. They were very accommodating and offered to refund my money and still perform the service. I thought that was very generous but declined saying I thought everyone should be paid. They then offered to come on a Saturday or after normal hours so that I would not have to take off work again. I was satisfied with their response. As it turned out, they went ahead and sent a very nice, thorough, and competent employee out at the originally scheduled time to perform the maintenance. I needed a new filter, which he did not have on the truck, so I ordered two. He said he would bring them out with no additional charge. This was on Oct 26th. It is now Nov 5th, and I have not heard back from them. I did receive the tune up as promised, but did not receive the air filters or the estimate for central air-conditioning. I will use them again in the future because I am confident they would have responded back had I called them. I think my order simply got overlooked. Today I went online and purchased the exact air filters promised, at a substantial discount, so I am happy.

Rob did a great job educating me on the different options for furnaces and air conditioners. He really took the time so i understood exactly what I was getting and how it would be installed. He and his team were very professional and clean when installing. Everything works perfectly.

We made an appointment. He and his helper came. They checked out the system and said there was a zone valve that needed to be replaced. They replaced it.

I called about 5 different companies about the cost to replace the motor in our furnace they were the least amount by more then $100.0 they were very professional and explained everything and weren't pushy at all. They also didn't plaster my heater with stickers which one company did, of course one sticker is ok so i remember you.

He and his techs promptly came and installed the new system. They were very professional doing this job. I did have a question after a couple of days about the upstairs not getting cool enough. Rob was here within an hour after my call and checked over the installation his techs had done, found one discrepancy and fixed it, and programmed the thermostat, and educated me how to use it. The whole house has been very comfortable since, and I have been very pleased. Rob and his techs were very responsive to our needs and I would highly recommend this company.

Rob and the Quality West team are very good and hard working. They have experience with a number of different AC systems and were able to custom install a Fujitsu Mini-split ductless AC system in the 2nd story of my house in a short period of time. They showed up on time and were very efficient with their work. I was very impressed with the quality of their work. It's been a few weeks since the install and I can happily report that the new AC system is working as stated by Rob and Quality West. The custom install location cools my entire upstairs quietly and efficiently and helps keep the downstairs cool as well. It has transformed the 2nd story into a more livable space. Thank you Rob & Quality West!

They were timely and comunicated well. Very efficient.

The service performed seemed to be good. However, they made recommendations that were outrageous in cost and we did not do. 2 days later we called another company and asked for recommendations. Their recommendations were 1/3 the cost of Quality.I was reminded of P.T. Barnum's qoute "There is a sucker born every minute".

This is the first time I have used this particular company and used an Angie's List coupon. Compared to what I have paid for the same service in the past, this company is a great value. I found the technicians to be very friendly and knowledgeable. Although a couple of problems with my HVAC were brought to my attention, they made recommendations but did not try to pressure me buying any additional services. I will use them again and would recommend them to others.

These guys understand what customer service is all about. I had left for a vacation and had turned off the AC. When I returned, it wouldn't start. I first called Xcel to see if the saver switch was the issue. They assured me it wasn't. I called Quality and the said they'd be over in a couple of hours and indicated that charged a diagnostic fee of $59, which could later be applied to any work done. They were right on time and it took Rob about one second to diagnose the problem, which was the Xcel saver switch. he explained how it would power down the AC and that you had to wait about 5 minutes to reset it. Sure enough, he showed me exactly how the issue occurs and how to fix it in case it happened again. He mentioned that he hated to have to charge me for not doing anything and so he went ahead and c leaned the condenser and leveled the pad. Nice, honest, and helpful.

I purchased Quality West Services' $54 special air-conditioning tuneup (I have two external units, so 2 x $54 = $108) via Angie's List. Followed up with a phone call to their customer service on 13 June 2012 to schedule an appointment. Was told the next available one was on 3 July, so I accepted it. On 26 June, I received a call from their customer service that they had a scheduling conflict on the 3rd, so they rescheduled the appointment for 29 June. On the 29th, Ross & his apprentice came out for the job. Three things I saw them do: 1) change out the furnace filters (an easy monthly/quarterly DIY job for a homeowner), 2) check freon levels (requires specialized equipment), and 3) level the exterior air conditioning units (they were on a gravel slope and apparently listed a bit). They also snipped off some loose drywall tin inside the upstairs furnace/air conditioning closet and answered some of my spouse's questions (e.g., intermittent shuddering/squealing noise in one of the systems is refrigerant seeping requiring a thermal expansion valve [TXV] replacement and another repair [estimated parts & labor >$1,000] and options for moving a thermostat). Service personnel wore booties inside the house so as not to soil the carpets/flooring. Arrival to departure time was approximately an hour. Customer service and service personnel were professional/friendly.

I had Quality West replace my AC unit and furnace. All in all they did a great job. There were a few con's with my experience. Specifically, I felt as though I was the one initiating the dialog and "pushing" to receive my quotes. The site visit to provide my quote was extremely quick and felt as though not much thought was put into what I would need (I later discovered that they sized my units by reviewing the Xcel use history to obtain an accurate depiction of the heating and air conditioning requirement of my house). After I received the initial quote, I had requested clarification and elaboration on a few items. This back and forth process lasted almost two weeks and required me to inquire to receive the updated quotes. However, I received a great price and after I selected them to for the job, they were able to complete the installation in a single day. Further, I had them relocate the AC from adjacent to my rear patio to the side of my house and run all new electric, which they did for the originally agreed to price. The team installing the furnace identified that the venting on my water heater that had been completed by a different contractor years prior was done incorrectly and had numerous leaks. Quality West removed all the old venting and constructed it correctly, which was out of scope and for no additional cost. I felt as though the installation crew was respectful and worked very hard to ensure that they were complete in one day. I was very happy with the hire and would recommend them to others.
