+ 0 moreProcurement of materials proceeded acceptably and without problem. Installation of flooring on steps was initiated on first day of project. The fit of flooring on the steps after the first day was very poor and I discontinued the installation of the flooring by the contractor at that time. I then had to remove the majority of the flooring that the contractor had installed and redo it and then proceed with completing the installation for the rest of the stairs and the hallway myself.
Description of Work: Procure materials and install hardwood floor on stairs and in hallway and two linen closets.

+ 0 moreThey were very punctual and got started very quickly after the estimate was finished, I think it was within the week. They were very professional. They helped move all the furniture and best of all, kept the dust to a minimum, which is key when doing flooring.
Description of Work: They refinished 400 square feet of flooring in our rental unit.

Description of Work: Doug came out to give me an estimate on a remodel on approx 9-10-07. The price was very reasonable. Due to his work schedule Doug was not able to begin the work until Oct. Doug ordered the Oak flooring and we agreed that I would do the installation and sanding if time permitted. I finished the work before Doug was available but during the install, I called him several times for technical questions and when I needed more Oak flooring. Doug was very responsive and all my calls were returned in a timely manner. I believe his responsiveness is an indication of his desire to perform quality work and in the future should I have additional flooring needs I would not hesitate to call Doug.

+ -1 moreDoug is very polite, professional, and punctual. He is experienced and good at his work. It only took half a day to install all the floors.
Description of Work: They installed pre-finished, 5 inch wood floor, a total of 105 sq. ft. in my kitchen. I purchased the floor and glue material from Home Depot and hired Doug to install the floor.
